I shook my head "No, after, about you being asexual?"

"Yeah, I believe it's true", Zach answered looking down at her.

Ellie
"Oh. Okay, that's fine" I mumbled, not meeting his eye.

"Why asking? I mean, I thought I had stated that earlier", Zach said.

Ellie
I glanced up at him for a second, studying his face. I stood so I was next to him, before kissing him.

"Answer my question", Zach said backing up.

Ellie
I looked at him, "Can't you see? All of this is driving me mad. When we were painting the wall, it was probably the happiest I had ever been. I asked you about it, about us, and you denied it." I said, tears brimming my eyes. "It hurts Zach."

(that came out of nowhere)

"I have warned you about me. You didn't listen", Zach said feeling very bad for her. It was not her fault he was so fucked up.

I sighed "I know you did and I tried to listen, really did. But I couldn't, I don't know why." I replied, moving away from him and sitting down, resting my head on my palms

"Look", Zach said kneeling down to look at her, " I'm sorry, but I can't change the very core of my being. That ain't happening."

Ellie
I sighed with a nod "I guess that would be hard" I say, looking up at him, wiping my eyes with my sleeve.

"But hey, I can try to be your friend", he added.

Ellie
I smiled at him "I wouldn't mind a friend" I said with a small nod.

Zach hugged her as best as he could in this small space.

Ellie
I smiled and hugged him back, resting my forehead on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry", Zach whispered in her ear again.

Ellie
I pulled away from the hug and gave him a small smile. "I am fine with just being friends" I said. "Having at least one friend is good"

"Pfft. I never had any and I turned out just fine", Zach got up.

Ellie
"Yeah, sure" I laughed, watching him get up. I lent my head against the wall again, looking up at the ceiling.

"Are you saying I did not?"Zach raised an eyebrow looking at her.

Ellie
"Hm, maybe" I replied, with a small grin.

"One thing. Name one thing wrong", Zach asked.

Ellie
"Ah, but you've put me on the spot now. I won't be able to think one up" I said, crossing my arms.

"Ah, you like me anyway", Zach smirked.

Ellie
"I may 'like you anyway', but that doesn't mean you don't have flaws" I pointed out.
