"Nah, I'm good thanks" Jasmine said, lowering her voice volume noticing he was tired.

"Gimme a blanket", Leo mumbled.

"Lazy bugger" Jasmine muttered, placing a blanket over him and passing him a pillow.

"Thank you", Leo said closing his eyes.

Jasmine glanced at him, before dimming the lights a bit so it was easier for him to sleep. She sat on the floor, leaning against the sofa, browsing on her phone.

Leo opened the door loudly and stomped into the flat. When he noticed Jasmine, he started talking."You know what? We've been friends for forever! I don't remember a part of my life when you weren't around. People used to call us a couple, but that's ridiculous, because a girl and a guy can be best friwnds without any crushes. Of course they can! But the thing is, someone has made me in the smaller category. Ever since I knew about crushes, you were mine and I hate to be a stereotype, but I don't want to ruin our friendship just because my hormons are being idiotic and I just thought I oughta say it now because I have gotten a call back for Broadway and I may be in one of the shows and won't probably ever go back to England and goodbye", Leo slammed the door shut behind him and, without evengiving her time to react, he took his luggage which was in the hallway and took te first flight to America.

Jasmine jumped as Leo stormed in "What the fuck-" She started, but stopped to listen to what he was saying. "Leo?" She called once he had gone out of the door. She opened it again and began scanning around looking for him. "Leo?" She called again. Jas was confused, even though she had caught everything he had said. She knew she'd better go and try and find him, but she also knew that was useless, so she went back into the house, hoping for some kind of sign from him; a call, a text, anything.

Leo sighed on the plane. Too fast. But it was like a Band-aid. The faster you rip it off the lesser it hurts. But it still hurt. He got out his phone and sent her a text, the last one."I'm sorry."

Jasmine felt her phone vibrate, and quickly read the text. She rang him and placed her phone against her ear, but it went straight to voicemail. 'Leo. Pick up.' She texted. 'Please.' She had never had time to tell him how she felt. Which sounds ridiculous. They had spent years together, plenty of time. But not enough. Never enough.

Leo turned off his phone. He'd probably replace it after he's come to America.

Jasmine glanced at the picture on the wall, one of her and Leo when they were younger. She sighed slightly and gazed around the house. She never moved, she didn't want to. This place meant so much to her. However, she doesn't live alone, she lives with her boyfriend. They met a year ago, at the surgery. He was a surgeon, and one day his usual nurse was off, so Jas took the nurse's place. His name was Thomas, but everyone called him Tom. He was quite tall, handsome, brown hair and green eyes. He said he preferred Jas as his nurse rather than his previous one, so she began working with him more often than not. Then, one day, he asked her on a date. Jas hadn't considered dating anyone, she was too busy waiting for Leo to return, if he ever did. But being lonely and Tom being cute, she said yes. After a few dates, Tom moved in with Jas. She could say she was happy, well happier than she was. She felt guilty in a way, being with one person, and even though she did love him, she didn't, and probably would never love him as much as she loves Leo.

Leo has had a good year. Since a small play was a success, he kept on getting bigger, longer roles, which meant he met a lot of people. That's how he met his friends, Dylan and Jasper. They were good guys, and although they never admitted it, yeah, they were a little bit gay for each other. Only time would tell what happened to their story. Since there was an icerink near their shared flat (Leo had a single bed room, they shared a room. You figure out the rest.) they went skating often.

Tom had decided he wanted to go skating, and as a result, dragged Jas along with him. She hadn't gone skating in a very long time, so wasn't very confident about it. She stepped onto the ice, clinging to the barrier, getting used to the ice before skating forwards slightly.

"Aw come on!"Jasper groaned. They have been having a competition; whoever skates backwards the longest wins. After Jasper and Dylan, it was Leo's turn."You have to", Dylan chimed in."Alright..." Leo sighed and pulled his hat a bit more to the front. He tried to skate backwards, failing epically, ending up bumping into someone.

"Ah shit" Jasmine mumbled losing her balance as she bumped into someone. "Sorry" She said, attempting to stand up, not looking at who she bumped into.

"No I'm sorry, I'm a clutz- Jazz?"Leo said as he looked down at a familiar face.

"Leo?" Jasmine said glancing up at him "But- what- why- ugh." She stammered. "Help me up" She mumbled, realising she was still on the floor.

Leo picked her up, just like he used to do when tjey were at a party and he threw her into the pool.(had to). He was still significantly taller than her."What are you doing here?" He heard the duo laughing behind him.

"I decided it was a lovely day to go shopping so I came to an icerink where you iceskate" Jasmine replied, shrugging.
