I fixed my necklace."So, shall we?"

Nix nodded, she invited her into the living room, sitting on the double sofa opposite where my mother was sat. "You forgot to put your top on" Mother noticed.

Roksana
"But this is my top", I said sitting down.

"No it is not, I am sure Clarissa will have some clothing you can borrow" Nix' mother said, "The other guest will not be pleased." Nix looked at her mother, "Other guest? I thought it was just us, mother" She said, looking at her mother confused, "I told you, Clarissa, that charming Edmund is coming over" Nix almost fell off the sofa. This is not happening. He can't be coming over, he lives in England. Why is he coming today? "He wanted to finally meet the woman he would be spending the rest of his life with" Mother said, as if reading her thoughts. Nix glanced over at Roxanne, scared for her reaction, Nix just hoped at the moment it sounded like her mother's future husband, not her own. "Please, mother, can we cancel this evening? I don't feel well." Her mother shook her head, "Of course not! He is coming from England to see you, Clarissa, we shan't cancel this evening because you 'don't feel well'"

Roksana
I kept quiet, maintaining the plastered smile on my face. I listened carefully, not quite understanding. Who was this Edmund guy? Why did he want to see her? I crossed my legs awkwardly and played with the red heel on my beloved shoes.

Nix kept glancing at Roxanne, "Mother, he can't come" She said, just then the doorbell rang. "He is here now" Her mother noticed, and a young man with limp brown hair, snub nose and awfully straight posture marched into the room. Nix' mother stood and gestured that the girls should too. Nix sighed and stood, giving Edmund a small curtsey. Edmund walked over to Nix and took her hand, kissing it sloppily, Nix had to stop her from wincing.

Roksana
I got up, making sure I made a show out of it. I did not feel comfortable here, not one tiny bit, so I crossed my hands across my chest, but I highly doubt that gesture hid anything.

After Edmund turned his attention to Nix' mother, Nix wiped her hand on her dress before looking at Roxanne, "I didn't know he was coming" She mumbled.

Roksana
As much as I'd liked to know the whole story, wrong place, wrong time."Not now", I shushed her.

Edmund looked at Roxanne and gave her a disgusted look. "I'm glad you could come, Edmund, we really need to discuss the wedding" Nix' mother said, "Mother are you sure we can't do this another time?" Nix asked, and Edmund shook his head. "Absolutely not! I am only staying in the dreadful country for one night before returning to England" Edmund said, his voice ridiculously posh, almost enough for it to be laughable. "Dinner is ready, let's go and discuss the wedding during that" Mother said.

Roksana
Wedding? What wedding? I suddenly became dizzy, so I threw a panicked look at Nix right before dropping onto the floor. Narcolepsy isn't a good thing I'd have bruises for sure, but at the moment, I didn't know, because I was lying like a dead body on the floor.

Nix' eyes widened, she dropped to Roxanne's side, studying her face. "Don't just fucking stand there! Phone an ambulance or something" She growled at no one in particular, and stared down at Roxanne, not realising she had just swore at her mother.

Since it was a particularly heavy wave, Roxanne didn't wake up.

Nix shook Roxanne gently, terrified. She didn't know what was happening, she just hoped what ever it was could be sorted by the paramedics who should be on their way now. She ignored everyone around her and just focused on Roxanne, shaking her gently still.

Roxanne murmured something not understandable, but still didn't wake up. She probably wouldn't, she'd be put for a few hours.

Nix was glad to hear some sort of noise from her, and didn't leave her side as the paramedics came into the room and crouched down beside Roxanne.

Nix kept glancing at Roxanne, "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked, voice filled with concern.

Roksana
"I'm completely fine. I forgot my pills this morning", I muttered sleepily.

Nix continued watching, "Good, okay" She said, sitting on the bed to stop herself fron pacing.

Roksana
"Who's that prince of England", I asked.

Nix dropped her head, "His name is Edmund Blundell" She said.

Roksana
"And.. Why is he here?" My voice was trembling.

"Mother knew his parents and mother invited him for dinner" Nix said, moving her hands around, nervously.

Roksana
I sighed quietly."Please tell me the truth."
