"I just... Don't want to go back", I said sighing a bit.

"Is it bad there?" Nix asked tilting her head, "Oh, sorry, you don't have to answer that"

Roksana
"It's-not really, it's quite nice, but- I left them. I left my whole family and my friends with a note, a stupid note... They probably forgot about me or arw still mad."

"But they're your family, they're probably worried sick about you. They'd never forget you" Nix said, "I've known you less than a couple of months yet know I'd never forget you"

Roksana
I smiled, but I doubted it looked happy. "I'm glad I'm unforgettable in your eyes."

"You are though" Nix said, looking up towards her, "I don't know how anyone would forget you. I mean this hair" She gently picked up a strand "Is absolutely gorgeous"

Roksana
I smiled a bit before returning to my down mood."It was blonde. And without tattoos except the ear one, and I hid it with makeup. I look completely different. They wouldn't recognize me."

Nix blinkdd for a second, trying to imagine her with blonde hair, "I can't imagine you with it" She noticed.

Roksana
"Really, disguistingly white-blonde. Half albino. My family is still confused, because that colour is practically extinct in Russia. Almost everybody has dark hair or dirty blonde."

"Why didn't you keep it?" Nix asked, generally curious.

Roksana
"I don't know. It's just too weak, too predictable", I answered with a shrug.

Nix nodded lightly, still looking at her fascinated. "Did you have the piercings?"

Roksana
"No, I didn't, I bought them with my first paycheck", I answered.

Nix, now she had got into the mood of asking questions, continued asking questions, "Was it exciting getting your first paycheck?"

Roksana
"Why are we talking about me?" I asked back.

"Because you're fascinating" Nix replied, before she could stop herself.

Roksana
There it goes again. My face liked evening out its colour with my hair."I-I don't know how to respond to that."

Nix lowered her gaze, "It was inappropriate, sorry"

Roksana
"N-nobody ever told me that", I said. Everybody thought they know me, 'classical rebel', doing everything to stand out. They all thought I was boring and predictable. She didn't.

Nix continued keeping her gaze low, "Really?" She asked.

Roksana
I nodded before realizing she can't see me."Really", I whispered.

"I don't see why they wouldn't. I mean, you're pretty, you're funny, you're someone who'd I sit with a listen to you talk for hours" Nix rambled.

Roksana
My blush was out of the range of normal."I'm-I"m-- thanks."

Nix nodded a small nod, one just visible. She didn't know what came over her, usually she's quite quiet and to herself. Not complimenting people left right and centre.

Roksana
I was unsure what to do, so I improvised. I closed the big gap between us with a couple of steps and placed my hand on her cheek, kissing her lightly.
