I chuckled lightly, "And hopefully through the tears he will say yes"

"Fingers crossed, kid", Tatiana said.

Andrew
I sat on the bed, both my arms and legs crossed, my face creased in thought. I dropped my gaze, frowning.

"I'm hooome", Isaac called throwing his bag onto the sofa.

Andrew
I mumbled a hello, knowing fully well that he probably didn't hear me.

"Where are you?" Isaac asked curiously.

Andrew
"Bed" I replied, thankful my voice was slightly croaky from not being used, so he couldn't recognise the odd break at the end of the word. I held tighter on the quilt, burying my face in it.

"It's five o'clock, what are you still doing there?" Isaac asked walking to the room.

Andrew
I made an odd noise as a response and didn't move from my position.

"Andrew? Is eve- What's wrong?" Isaac corrected himself.

Andrew
I spoke into the quilt, making my voice muffled and untelligible.

Isaac grabbed his chun and made Andrew look at him."Tell me."

Andrew
I dropped my gaze so I wasn't looking directly at him, "Car crash"

Isaac blinked twice, feeling his stomach drop."Huh?"

Andrew
I held slightly tighter onto the quilt, "Car crash, Isaac, a large one. In Australia"

Isaac was unsure how to react."Were there--"

Andrew
"My nan, from my dad's side. His side of the family was more accepting than mother's side. I stayed with her often when mother was in a bad mood" I explained, squeezing my eyes tightly shut.

"Is-Is she alright?" Isaac asked.

Andrew
I shook my head, lowering my head into the quilt again.

"I'm so sorry", Isaac said somehow managing to wrap his hands around him.

Andrew
I cuddled into the warmth of his arm, eyes still tightly shut.

"I'm here if you want to cry it all out", Isaac whispered.
