Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

Victoria
"You were just waiting outside the door until one of us asked that question weren't you?" I asked, moving into a sitting position to look at him properly, ignoring the sharp pang in my shoulder as I moved. They must have stitched it or something, before hand it didn't hurt as much.

He pretended as if he hadn't heard her and focuses on me. "Your plane crashed. You two were barely conscious and the pilot was dead", he says quickly. "My troop was travelling back through that area and we bought you here". I frown slightly.

Victoria
"Kind of you, though does here offer better beds, or at least food? Surely one person in your 'troop' can cook" I said.

"You're in Alaska", he says calmly. "The army base in Alaska, to be precise". I smile and nudge Victoria slightly. "You're going to be joining our army".

Victoria
"Really? This will be school all over again but with less brains more pains" I grumbled, frowning at the man.

I look at Victoria with wide eyes, "we cant join the army!". The soldier man shuffles slightly, "Actually, yes you can. And you will", He sighs when he sees my expression. "Once you cross our borders you are eligible for recruitment. Its just the way it is now".

Victoria
"How in actual hell were we meant to know that? I am not joining a fucking army, we came here for safety, not to be thrown straight back into a bloody battle!"

"I'm sorry. That's just the way it is", he says and starts to walk back towards the doors. "Oh, and here are your uniforms", he add and marches away. I sit up and slide my legs off of the bed, pulling the clothes towards me. "Gotta be better than going it alone".

Victoria
"How the fuck is an army going to win against a motherfucking mob of zombies?" I asked, looking at the uniform in Johann's hands and scrunched up my nose at them.

I stand up awkwardly and lean against the bed. I hold the uniform up, "Imagine every zombie movie ending", I say, not really that helpfully. "Except World War Z", I grab one of the hats and place it on Victorias head. "That movie ending sucked royal hippogriff".

Victoria
"I never had the time for silly movies" I said, removing the hat instantly and droppibg it on the floor beside the bed. I had no intentions to follow this guy's orders. Truthfully, I never had followed orders well so why change now.

I pout in mock sadness, "but silly movies are the best. You can make fun of the incredibly Hollyoaks worthy bad acting". I undo the shirt buttons of the uniform, "when this shit is over I'm going to spend the rest of my days persuading you to watch silly movies". I sigh, "now turn around while I change. We might as well or he'll just cone back and force us into the uniforms".

Victoria
I rolled over so I was facing the other way, "They're pointless. You just stare at a screen for two hours getting no wiser" I replied, curling myself, my arm gingerly; into a small ball.

I quickly change and hurry over to Victoria's side, "hey, what's wrong?" I pull her into a tight hug and sit on the edge of the bed.

Victoria
"Apart from a zombie apocolypse, nothing" nonetheless, I happily, or as happily as I could be considering my current strop about the army, cuddled into his arms. "We could try escape"

I could just imagine the two of us skillfully scaling the border walls. But then the image was obscured by the merciless undead. I shiver slightly, "We barely survived out there on our own. And, you never know, we might actually win thus thing".

Victoria
"Can't we just stay here and make other people do it for us? That is a much better idea" my voice was muffled by Johann slightly; but I wasn't lying. This posiyion is indeed a very comfy one. I would hate to move out of it.

I hum in agreement, "in this very room? Cause I thought you hated hospitals". I mentally slap myself. Now was not the time for humour. Damn it, Joey. You had one job.

I smiled slightly at him, "Possibly not in this room, unless you have some perfume to rid the smell and sunglasses so we don't go blind" I replied, tilting my head to kiss his jaw.

"Perfumes your department", I say. I tilt her head up and lightly press my lips against hers. "Joining the army would limit our time together", I mumble against her lips. Joining the army might not be the best idea after all.

Victoria
"Ah but Princesses always carry perfume." I replied, "Yes, it would. Which is why it is a frankly bullshit idea to allow him to force us into it."

"I knew I hated the government for a reason", I sigh. "Ugh", I moan and drag the 'u'. "We will have to. We might not want to but we will".

Victoria
"We could get out of it somehow?" I suggested; "If mister goodietwoshoes is up for that"

I frown at the nickname. "And how exactly do you plan to do that?", I ask. It wasn't that I didn't want to get out of it, I just thought that it would be impossible.

Victoria
"I will figure something out" I shrugged, slowly moving out of his embrace. I made a twiring gesture with my finger, "Turn around" I picked up the clothing the guy had given me.
