"And we have to get rid of that same car,"Benedict groaned as he tried to straighten his legs.

Amelia-May
I shrugged and watched him struggle. I wanted to help more, but that would look like I was caring for him, which Chameleon wouldn't like.

"Gee, you're being helpful,"Benedict noticed. He also noticed that they were close to the door of the apartment."The key's in the back pocket of my jeans,"he said to Amelia.

Amelia-May
I nodded and reached for them, I soon found them and reached towards the door, placing them in the lock. I opened the door, leading/dragging Benedict inside.

I found the first aid kit and began sorting out Benedict's wind.

Not really wanting to talk about this, but he had to. Benedict sighed."Why are you being so mean nowadays?"

Amelia-May
I sighed, glancing at him. "As I said before, I have to" I say

"No you don't. It's me and you we're talking about."Benedict insisted.

Amelia-May
I looked at him, sadness flickering over my face for a second before returning to its now usual stone expression. "If I don't act like this there would be no you"

"Now that's absurd. I cannot just disappear, now can I?"Benedict frowned lightly.

Amelias-May
I had already said too much. Maybe next time if they shoot they won't miss. "I really can't say anymore" I say.

"Whay have you gotten yourself into, Amelia?"Benedict asked worriedly.

Amelia-May
"I didn't get into it. I was forced." I snapped, moving away from him.

"We humans always have a choice,"Benedict said.

Amelia-May
I sighed and rested my head against the window. "he said he would kill you" I say, knowing this was a huge risk. "He got someone to shoot you because I wasn't acting well enough"

"Acting what? Who told you that?"Bennedict asked quickly.

Amelia-May
"I had to act like I hated you, didn't want to be around you" I said. Not replying to who said it. The letter didn't specify who but its not hard to guess. I sighed, my breath condemning and causing the window to steam up.

"Chameleon?"Benedict guessed.

Amelia-May
I shrugged, moving my gaze from the cold window to Benedict.

"It IS the Chameleon,"Benedict said frowning. There was nothing much that he could do, considering the fact that every move below his neck hurt.

Amelia-May
I walked over to him and sat beside him. "Are you okay?" I asked for the first time, my expression had changed from cold to concerned. Benedict knew mostly all of what Chameleon had said in his letter, so there was no point acting anymore.

"I have been fucking shot, of course I am not okay,"Benedict muttered grumpily.
