A week after the gunshot, Benedict decided that it was better for them to split, to cover the bigger area.

I stared around the giant city, I wasn't happy that we had split up, Chameleon could do anything. But then again he hasn't done anything for the last week, and I had been acting a lot kinder towards Benedict. Chameleon could of just gotten bored.

Benedict walked into the alleyway, which had no one in it, but needed 'looking after' nevertheless. As he got to the middle of that alleyway, he felt a blow against his head and he just slid down to the ground, unconsciousness. The Chameleon's guy dragged him away...

Amelia-May
I arrived where Benedict had told us to meet. After half an hour of waiting I began to panic. Where was he? Had Chameleon found him? Had something bad happened that I didn't noticed? It was such a retarded idea to split up. I typed Benedict's number into my phone and rang it.

The Chameleon's guy {who needs a name tbh} got the phone out of Benedict's pocket and answered in his bass and creepy voice."We told you so."He hung up.

The words repeated around my head. "For fuck's sake" I cursed loudly, running my hands through my hair. Had they already killed him? If not where would they take him? I had no idea what to do. I paced around, cursing under my breath, thinking what to do.

I found Chameleon's base through memory. It was larger than I remember it. I knocked on the door loudly, hoping someone would answer. "Miss Lee! I was expecting you.You're a bit later than I planned you would be though" A loud and sickly sweet voice called out. A bit later? What does that mean? "Come in" It announced as the large doors opened. I timidly walked inside but, spotting some of Chameleon's men I straightened up, trying to act braver than I felt. They grabbed my arms and dragged me into the room where I first met Chameleon. "Miss Lee! How lovely to see you again" Chameleon said, as if spitting venom.

Benedict was slowly waking up in the room near the place Amelia was. Amelia? Amelia?! What was she doing here??

"Where's Benedict?" I asked, not taking any of his shit. "Oh. Here for business? I thought you wanted a nice chat. To catch up. Y'know?" Chameleon said. I shook my head, "Where's Benedict?" I repeated, rubbing the side of my arm. "You are highly obsessed to know about Benedict. One might say you have feelings for him, that wouldn't be good if HQ found out. Would it?" Chameleon said, clearly avoiding the question. "Is that a threat?" I asked, scowling. "Where is Benedict?" I added, looking around the room. "You weren't, hm how should I put it, 'bitchy' enough for me. You know perfectly well what that meant" No, it's not true. "No, you couldn't have" I whispered "Oh no! I haven't done it yet. I was waiting for our guest of honour! Ooh looky here! She has arrived." Chameleon sneered, looking down at me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Please, don't kill him. I tried" I say, looking up at him pleadingly. "Please take my life. Let him live. He is worth more" I say, stepping forward, but only to be held still by Chameleon's men.

After Benedict shook his head to clear it, he heard Amelia's voice, lucid, despite the distance between them."Amelia, no!!"He yelled as he bolted upwards, only to find himself taken down by two Chameleon's men. Right at the place where he was shot, one kicked him, so it caused strange lightness in his head, possibly from the pain, and Benedict couldn't think.

I turned my head towards Benedict's voice. "Perfect! I am glad this worked out for everyone!" Chameleon sneered, tapping the top of my head. "So you gave two choices; get tortured and die slowly, however you get to say goodbye to Benedict. Or die quickly and not see Benedict" Chameleon added, "Either way Benedict will have to watch, and it will be good entertainment for me and my crew" Chameleon said, a crooked grin on his face.

Benedict's breathing was heavy, but it had nothing to do with the fight he was having with the guards. No. He wouldn't.

Amelia-May
I remained silent. I looked at both my options. "I'll go with torture" I say, not looking at Chameleon, I wanted to say bye to Benedict. "Ooh! Good!" Chameleon announced. His men picked me up and carried me up, then carrying me to a prison cell that Benedict was in also. "5 minutes Miss Lee!" I heard Chameleon call before closing the door, leaving me alone with Benedict.

Benedict felt the guards leave his side so he get up and hurried to Amelia, unable to say anything, maybe pain, maybe just plain disbelief that she's choosing torture just to say goodbye.

Amelia-May
I smiled at him, a sad smile, so different from my usual smile. I wrapped my hands around his torso, hugging him.

"Goodbye,"Benedict whispered, but his voice broke. He wrapped his hands around her neck and his head dived into her hair, hiding the tears.

I cuddle into his torso more "I will miss you" I say, not caring about the makeup I was wearing. Chameleon's laugh echoed around the small room. "Time's up!" He cackled, and his men charged into the room, breaking us apart, and dragging us out of the room "Stay grand, I love you Ben" I whisper.

"I-"Benedict started, but the men dragged him away before he could finish. Words unspoken, things untold. Things that they've known all along.

I glanced over my shoulder, for just one last look at Benedict's face, wanting that to be the last thing I saw.
