Ellie
I cuddled into his arms a bit more. "They're everywhere" I mutter.

"No they aren't. You just think they are." You could see that Zach was new to this 'comforting' thing.

Ellie
I grumbled something inaudible, still not moving an inch. I felt at peace in this position. It felt right.

Zach leaned his chin onto her head and fell asleep.

Ellie
"Where are we going again?" I asked, pulling on my shoes.

"Since I left all my stuff at San Francisco, well, most of it, at least", Zach started putting a trapper cap on,"loser, we're going shopping."

Ellie
"Yay. Shopping" I say, sarcastically. "Why do I have to come?" I complained, straightening up.

"Because I need your protection from annoying people", Zach shrugged.

Ellie
"I doubt I will be much help, due to the fact I live with one" I say, letting him lead the way.

"Mean", Zach said."But anyways, news in the CC travel fast. Expect crazy college students approaching and squealing."

Ellie
"Oh great" I replied, shaking my head slightly.

"Why did you write that? About me",Zach asked when they came home.

Ellie
I sighed, not this. I shrugged "I was writing the truth" I say, brushing my hair out of my face.

"But why?" Zach asked.

Ellie
"I don't know. I didn't expect you to read it." I say, sitting on the sofa. "I was thinking of adding it, but rewording it slightly. Teenagers like that stuff" I added.

"That's just moronic,"Zach complained getting into a position on his beloved beanie bag.

Ellie
I shrugged "It's what they like" I replied, "And if they like it, it pays for supper"

"But why do you even bother with teens?"Zach asked.

Ellie
I shrugged, "I haven't had an idea for an adult's book." I say, glancing at him. "Anyway why do you bother 'em? You're a teacher, you have to put up with them more than me."

"Do you think I would be a teacher if I had any choice? I like working in labs and shit way more than I like working with kids, thanks!"Zach said, now quite annoyed. He snorted at her, pissed off.

I sigh, "Kids aren't that bad, some of them can be quite good" I say, averting my eyes.
