"Well, you said it before, the comfiness and coziness and whatever", Zach said rolling his eyes. He felt the fluttering feeling in his stomach increasing.

Ellie
"Oh" I say simply. "I guess it is cozy" I agreed, with a smile while stroking Ollie.

"And I have work", Zach said suddenly getting up.

Ellie
I slide off him onto the sofa, as he stands up. I sit myself up, wrapping the blanklet tightly around me. "But its cold" I complained, confused as to why he got up so fast.

"Work is work", Zach said leaving.

(maybe he comes home late and its still cold and ellies already in bed so he kinda sneaks up to her?)

Ellie
I laid in the bed, still cold, even with mostly all the blankets in the house, a cat in my arms and a dog at my feet. I shivered slightly

Zach came home late. Much too late for just being at work. Instead, he hanged out in a bar. But he didn't drink. Not a single beer. Why? He couldn't tell. When you looked at the whole picture; he was cold all the time. He had a weird feeling in his stomach. He wasn't even in the mood for a beer, for goodness sake! Yup. It was mosy definitely a flu.
He opened the door of the house carefully so he didn't make a noise. He took off his shoes and put the coat on the hanger. After that he opened the door to the bedroom carefully, but it still shrieked.

Ellie
I opened my eyes to the sound of the door. It must of been Zachariah, as Drew didn't react. Why was he back so late? Had something happened at work? But being too lazy I didn't move, mostly because I couldn't, not very well anyway, too many blankets.

Zach noticed that she was asleep, so he decided to do so as well. After a quick trip to the bathroom to put on his pajamas he curled up under the blanket, but still felt cold. Of course, he didn't dare to get closer to Ellie, after all, he was freezing cold and it would wake her up. Ollie meowed loudly.

Ellie
I looked down at Ollie before realising Zachariah must think I'm asleep as he didnt speak as he climbed into the bed. I felt his warmth, even though he was quite far from me.

"Hey. You awake?"Zach whispered fixing the blankets so they covered hum full. So. Cold.

Ellie
I turned to face him and nodded "Yeah" I say, my voice croaky from not being used in a while. "Why are you so late?" I asked.

"I went places", Zach answered grumpily. "It is cold and I would very much appreciate you coming closer", he said in a slightly sofer tone.

Ellie
I cuddled closer to him, still holding Ollie. I rested my head against him, feeling comfortable and a lot warmer.

"There. Isn't this better?"Zach asked curling up next to her. It was warmer, but cold still.

Ellie
I nodded "Yeah. A bit." I say, with a small smile. "When will the heating be fixed?" I asked. Personally I didn't want it to be fixed, I liked having an excuse to cuddle upto Zachariah. Though I guess it isn't practical.

"I don't care, you're warmer tgan the heater. Or shall I start the body heat conversation again?"Zach asked.

Ellie
"Well, its nice to know I have a useful purpose in this world; Zachariah Hewitt's hot water bottle" I replied with a grin.

"Not hot. Warm", Zach corrected her laughing quietly."Oof, I'm tired."

Ellie
I rolled my eyes at him, playfully. "Fine- Warm water bottle" I corrected myself. "It is late" I agreed.

"Then go to sleep, you nutcase",Zach said, not enough energy in him to say it in a sarcastic tone he usually had.

Ellie
I rolled my eyes "Your fault I'm awake, you came in like a herd of baby elephants." I said

"Ah, but the key word is 'baby'", Zach said as he shivered lightly, getting closer to Ellie.

Ellie
"Yeah but you could of been a mouse or a moth." I say, trying to ignore how close he was. "Or a duck" I added with a smile.

"Quack", Zach said chuckling lightly, but tiredly."When the hell did it get this cold?"
