"Well... Some of us anyway" I say with a grin, looking up at him with my open eye.

Zach groaned, complaining: "I am your plushie now, aren't I?"

Ellie
"Mhm." I hummed, closing my eye with a smile. "A lovely warm plushie" I agreed.

"I swear to God, call me lovely or dear or anything like that one nore time, and I might have to do something about that."That and this messed up feeling in his stomach. What was it?

Ellie
"I was describing the warm. Its a lovely warm not too warm, not too cold" I say, "Okay, duck?" I added, just to tease him.

"Did you just call me a duck?"Zach frowned.

Ellie
"Quack" I say, before giggling slightly. I opened my eyes to look up at him grinning . "Quack" I repeated.

"Seriously now. What is wrong with you?" Zach asked laughing quietly.

Ellie
"God knows" I grinned, stroking Ollie. "Anyway your the duck. You should quack"

"I refuse to", Zach shook his head.

Ellie
"Awh please?" I pouted. "For Ollie?" I asked, holding the kitten to his face level.

"Don't bring him into this", Zach crossed his hands."Ugh, you are just so..."

Ellie
"Fantastic? Brilliant? Totally Awesome? Fandabidosie?" I asked, grinning, lowering Ollie onto my lap again.

"Childlike", Zach finished grinning at her.

Ellie
"Well that's disappointing. I thought you would come out with a word that only the person who write the dictionary knows." I say, but I still smiled. "Wait. You said you don't like kids" I added, with a small pout.

"I think I am making an exception with you", Zach said, quite confused. What made him say that?

Ellie
"Yay" I say, stroking Ollie. "Will you quack now?" I asked.

"I am most definitely not", Zach shook his head.

Ellie
"Awh. You're no fun" I complained, closing my eyes and kept my head against him.

"Nevertheless", Zach said wrapping his hands around her waist,"I'm glad you're here. Keeping me away from my emotional fuckups or whatever."

Ellie
I was startled slightly when he placed his arms around me, but I didn't protest. "Happy to help" I say, smiling.

"Shh. You're ruining it", Zach said.

I didn't move. What did he mean? This moment? He showed daily he didn't like me, well in that way anyway. "Why what's special about this moment?" I asked.
