"Go ahead", Zach said cleaning up the paint on the floor.

Ellie
I smiled at him, heading to the bathroom. "It's definitely blue" I observed.

"Yeah, you owe me one", Zach said.

Ellie
I laughed "But I made you Dali. That is good enough" I said, walking out of the bathroom to help him.

I glanced at the tv before smiling and grabbed the remote, switching it to Zach's favourite show; Toddlers and Tiara

Zach sat down in his beloved beanie bag and started reading.

Ellie
"Hey Zach" I said, moving my gaze away from the tv. "Can I ask you something?"

"Always", Zach said looking up.

Ellie
"What are we? Are we, like, dating or just very close friends?" I asked, rubbing the back of my neck.

"I... Honestly I don't know. I never had friends, and I doubt that I ever will. I feel absolutely no need to be around people, no physical wantings to hang out or whatever", Zach shrugged.

Ellie
"I'm at least a friend though?" I asked

"Maybe. I don't know. You don't know me very well", Zach said turnung back to his book.

Ellie
That comment stung, probably more than it should of. "Oh. Okay" I muttered, lowering my gaze.

"Why?"Zach asked lightly confused. Why did she even ask that question?"

Ellie
I shrugged "I.. Well, we've been quite close recently" I said.

"As I said before, I feel like no physical attraction. Towards anyone. You're just fun to hang around", Zach said.

(Zach. Just. Ugh)

Ellie
"Oh. Fun to hang around with. That's fine." I said, with a cough. I stood up, and leaving the tv, walked into the bedroom.

Zach watched her leave before sighing lightly, returning to his book.

I sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall. I don't get him. At all. And it is killing me internally. I leaned my head against my knees and sighed.

(i am blocked. And i have an idea)

"Zach" I said, walking through the door "You need to pack, we're going in vacation" I announced walking in to the living room.

"Why should I do that?"Zach askes not moving an inch.
