"Probably", Zach snorted."But you drive."

Ellie
"Yay" I smiled, and led the way out of the house, I got into the driver's side of the car and started the engine.

"I hate you", Zach muttered when he got into the car.

Ellie
"Gooood" I smiled, pulling out of our parking space and driving to the ice-rink, making the journey as short as possible.

Zach got out of the car as soon as he could sighing slightly."You're really trying to torture me, right?"

Ellie
"This isn't even trying" I winked, locking the car, and leading the way into the rink.

Zach followed her grumpily."I'm gonna die."

Ellie
"How about I pay for your ticket? Would you feel better then?" I asked.

"No because you were supposed to do that anyway. I don't bring cash to work."Zach rolled his eyes.

Ellie
I rolled my eyes at him, paying for the tickets then walking down a corridor to the ice-rink. I got my skates and waited for Zachariah to get his.

Zach got his skates and walked to the benches to put them on."Have I mentioned that I hate you?"

Ellie
"Probably. I wasn't listening if you did" I smiled, tying the laces.

Zach put on his skates quickly before looking up at her again."Well I'm mentioning it again."

Ellie
I smiled at him, reaching out my hand to help him stand up. "Ice-skating is fun. At least try to enjoy it"

"Humph", Zach grumbled getting up."Let's do this shit and leave."

Ellie
I rolled my eyes and led the way onto the ice. I skate forwards slightly and turn to face Zachariah, waiting for him to join me on the ice.

Zach carefully stepped on ice."Nope I'm dead."

Ellie
I sighed "You're not dead, you are still breathing, your heart is pumping blood around your body and your brain is making your body function. You're the supposed to be the smart one" I said, skating towards him to help him.

"But I'm going to die", Zach said, letting go for just a second before holding onto the fence around the rink.

Ellie
"You won't die, here, hold on to me, and I promise you won't fall, and if you do you'll have a soft landing" I say, smiling and holding out my hand.

"Then, not only will I break my leg, I'll break you, as well", Zach said taking her hand.

Ellie
"See, my punishment for taking you skating" I smiled, very slowly skating away from the fence.

"No!"Zach squealed quietly, not letting go of the fence.

Ellie
"Trust me" I say, tightening my grip on his hand to reassure him that I wouldn't let go.

Zach looked at her. Trust. After his mom, did he even trust anyone? Well, he better get started. He let go transferring his look to his skates.
