I smiled "There you go! Bob's your uncle!" I said, "Now move your feet like you're walking but don't pick them off the ground."

"But that's physically impossible",Zach said.

"like you're shuffling along the floor, dragging your feet" I explained.

Zach moved his legs a bit."Like that?"

I grinned at him "Just about perfect! Now we need to actually travel somewhere when you move your legs"

"Forwards. To Antarctica. Anywhere" I said, catching his gaze, with a smile.

I skated backwards slowly, hoping Zachariah would skate forwards.

"Oh, fuck!"Zach said, nearly falling backwards. That caused Zach to grab onto Ellie's shoulders tightly."Do not, I repeat, do not fucking let go of me."

Ellie
After regaining my balance and wincing at his grip, I hold onto his wrists "Okay, sorry" I say, not letting go.

"What the hell was that for?"Zach asked.

Ellie
"Sorry, I thought you might of wanted to try it without holding onto something" I mumbled.

"Not a motherfucking chance", Zach muttered into her hair.

Ellie
"Okay, I promise I won't let go" I say, glancing at him. "Let's try again, same movements as before, and I'll drag you along slowly alright?"

"I want to go home", Zach whimpered quietly.

Ellie
"Just a couple of inches? That's not even a step. Then we can go home" I said, feeling guilty for bringing Zachariah ice-skating.

"No", Zach said shivering lightly.

Ellie
"Com'on one teenyweeny step? For Ollie?" I said, wanting for him to at least move forwards.

"Ellie."Zach said."I'm going home, even if I have to walk."

Ellie
"You don't know the way" I say, "Plus, for us to get off this rink you have to skate at least a yard" I added, nodding to the exit.

Zach looked at the exit before holding Ellie even tighter."Lead the way."

Ellie
I looked at where I was going before turning so I was facing Zachariah, I slowly skated backwards, so he didn't have to be dragged along backwards.

Zach avoided to look at the ice, so he kept his gaze on her face.

Ellie
I felt my foot hit something hard, which must of been the exit. I turn my head round so I could see to get off the ice, then I helped Zachariah. "There, we're off"
