Both of the Worlds

"Where did you get that?"Rosalen asked breathing heavily.

"A lot of books say so" Eragon replied, moving his hand back to her waist.

"Well the books say that we also like bad boys. And boy, are you a bad evil little dragonfly", Rosalen poked his nose.

Eragon laughed, before kissing her again. "Well, if you like bad evil little dragonflies, I shall be a bad evil little dragonfly" He said, brushing a stray hair out of her face and tucking it behind her ear.

"Well, hun, you already are", Rosalen smiled up at him.

Eragon grinned "Good." He said, kissing her forehead.

Eragon grinned as he held up the tiara in his hands, carefully turning it so he got the full view of the beautiful item. "Finally" He muttered, placing the item in the black satchel he had brought. And in his glee, he forgot about the lasers, which as soon as he stepped into one set off an alarm. "Ah fuck!" Eragon cursed loudly, and knowing there was no way for him ti escape he sat on a chair with his legs crossed, looking completely relaxed. But he was freaking out internally. But the police won't know that.

Rosalen got called in the middle of the night to go help out the Bureau."Ugh", she complained arriving at the scene."What now?" After they explained everything to her, they sent her in. She looked around, holding a flashlight in one hand and a gun in other.

Eragon glanced over at the torch light "You took your time"He said, leaning back onto the chair, acting completely confident.

"You again?"She asked harshily, but loweted her tone."What are you doing in here??!"

"Rosalen?" Eragon said, looking towards her. He pulled the tiara out of his bag and placed it on his head "I wanted to try this on for size. Does it suit me?" He asked.

"You have to get out of here, they'll kill you!!"Rosalen whispered harshly.

"But where could I go? I suppose they're surrounding the building?" Eragon asked, putting the tiara back in the bag.

"Well screw it, hide somewhere!"Rosalen fixed her hair nervously.

"Won't you get in trouble for not finding me?" Eragon asked, looking towards her

"I'm half blind, I think I can get away with that", Rosalen said just as they ran into the room. Crap. She should have shot him ages ago, by the Bureau's words. In a moment of panic, she took out her gun and aimed at the spot he had shot her, that she was certain won't kill him.

Eragon's eyes widened as he saw her gun. He placed the bag down and raised his hands, watching her carefully.

Eragon felt two firm hands grab just above his elbow, and with a grunt he was lifted up and placed over a shoulder. Eragon grunted again with pain, but moved just enough to see it was Wayne carrying him, and Chris was running at his side carrying the bag."You really need to pick your girls more carefully" Wayne said, with a smirk. Eragon groaned slightly and moved his hand to his wound, putting pressure on it. "She was protecting me" He mumbled.

When they dragged him away, Rosalen felt breathless. She got lost in the heaps of people chasing them, but she knew they wouldn't get caught.

Eragon looked back towards the police, quickly scanning for Rosalen, and when he didn't see her, he looked back towards the front.
