Both of the Worlds

Rosalen was sitting on her bed staring at the phone. He didn't answer. It has been three hours now, and he didn't answer.

"C'mon guys! Give me my phone!" Eragon complained loudly, reaching out to grab his phone but Wayne moved it, once again, out of his reach. Wayne checked the caller ID, and shook his head "She shot you. She is probably just using you to get to us" Wayne said, pocketing Eragon's phone. Eragon attempted to get up, but Chris placed a hand on his chest, stopping him from moving. "Guys. Seriously. She will think I hate her" Eragon said, trying to push Chris' hand off but winced inn pain. "So you should" Wayne replied.

Oh God. A thousand possible scenarios floated in Rosalen's mind. One of the most plausible and reasonable ones was the plain and simple miscalculation. She killed him.

Eragon managed to push Chris' hand off, and with a grunt, sat up. "If you don't give me my phone I will just go to her house" He said, glancing between the two of them. Wayne grumbled and pushed Eragon back onto the sofa. "You are going no where" He replied.

(hey should meet up somewhere, maybe a week or so after she had shot him)

(mhm, should Eragon steal his phone back to call her in the middle of the night or something? Then they meet up?)

Eragon glanced over at Wayne, he had fell asleep not long ago. Chris had left earlier, but Eragon hadn't caught why, so Eragon carefully raised himself up and reached into Wayne's pocket, taking his phone back. He dialled Rosalen's number and went into the bathroom, closing the door so Wayne didn't wake up.

Rosalen answered the phone, fearing for worst."Hello?"

"Hey" Eragon said, smiling lightly, carefully lowering himself to sit on the floor.

"Oh dear Jesus, Lord, are you okay?"Rosalen squeaked into the phone.

"I'm surprising well. How about you?" Eragon asked, his voice quiet so it didn't carry into the front room.

"I freakin' shot you, how do you think I'm doing?"Rosalen said an octave higher than usual.

"Not well, I guess" Eragon mumbled, "Don't worry, I'm fine, it just smarts a little" He added.

"Not well", Rosalen snorted."I could have killed you and I'm so sorry but it was necessary and I'm sorry and I should have warned you and I love hanging out with you so you being dead won't do me any well and I'm sorry."

"Honestly, Rosalen, it's fine. Look on the bright-side, now there is less chance of anyone finding out about us" Eragon said, fiddling with his t-shirt.

"On the bright side we're even", Rosalen said calming down a bit.

"Mhm," Eragon hummed, changing which ear his phone was against "Let's try not shoot eachother in the future" He added.

"Mhm", Rosalen agreed, before realizing something."You lil' bitch! You could have called hours ago!!"

Eragon jumped slightly at her change in tone, and with a wince, he said "I couldn't. Wayne took my phone"

"Pfft. Figures. When can I see you again?"Rosalen asked.

"Soon, I hope. Whenever I manage to kick Wayne out of my house" Eragon said, with a small sigh.
