Brooklyn remained next to Sebastian, trying to think of something to say. "I hate to see you like this" She mumbled.

"I hate to be like this", Sebastian sighed.

Brooklyn sighed quietly and rested her head against him. "Y'know, I've loved spending the last month with you" She said.

"Hm, really?"Sebastian looked down at her.

"Mhm," Brooklyn hummed, "I never talk to anyone, especially strangers, and yet I had a whole conversation with you on a train."

"I still don't understand how that happened, by the way", Sebastian said.

"You just started talking" Brooklyn said, "But I don't regret the fact you did"

"That was not me. I don't talk to strangers", Sebastian said.

"It was a long journey and it would of been really awkward if you hadn't spoken" Brooklyn replied.

"It would've been awkward either way", Sebastian admitted.

Brooklyn nodded "Yeah, probably" She said, looking at him.

"Definitely", Sebastian said looking at the wall.

Brooklyn remained silent for another second, thinking about what else she could say. "I do enjoy being with you though" She said.

"That's a first", Sebastian noticed.

"Why is it?" Brooklyn asked, curiously.

"Don't ask me", Sebastian shrugged.

"But you're a brilliant person, why would people not enjoy being around you?" Brooklyn asked.

"Because I'm... How would you say it, fucked up", Sebastian said.

"How are you?" Brooklyn asked, looking at him carefully.

"I don't know. I just feel like someone's mistake", Sebastian sighed.

Brooklyn fiddled slightly with her hair, "Someone like you can't be a mistake" She said, just louder than a mumble.

"Oh, I'd disagree", Sebastian said.
