"I don't know" I say, combing through my hair with my fingers. Having no straighteners means really curly hair; which I hated.

I open the glove box and forage around it, looking for anything interesting before deciding there wasn't anything, so I return to questioning Benedict "Why did you fake your death" I ask, looking at him.

Benedict sighed."Why did you mention this topic right now?"He replied in the same tone.

"Because I am bored and curious" I replied, fiddling with a piece of my hair.

Benedict looked down from the road for a moment. This past week he had spent with Amelia, without pressure, just relaxing, had made him feel a bit better, his eyes were a bit lighter. But still not the blue they used to be."It's... a complicated story."

Amelia-May
"I think I can handle it" I say, moving my gaze from my hair back to Benedict.

"I think I can't. I'll tell you when we stop, okay?"Benedict asked, looking up at the road again.

Benedict pulled over {god knows where, really} and turned off the car. He turned to Amelia, frowning lightly."Umm... I don't know where to start, really."

I study Benedict's face, "May the start would be good" I say, smiling slightly.

Benedict rolled his eyes."You know, when you first got into the HQ, and these people, The Mains were sitting on the stage?"

I thought back to when I first arrived, I remember Benedict in his blue hat that brought out his eyes. I nod, remembering the men sat on he stage behind Howard.

"Well, they're working for the Chameleon. They're enemies."Benedict said.

Amelia-May
"But why didn't anyone turn them in? Why didn't you turn them in?" I asked, confused.

"Because they're all ex-spies. They're powerful. But there's an organisation that's working on it."Benedict said.

Amelia-May
"Oh, okay. What organisation?" I ask, shifting myself into a comfier position.

"I.. cannot tell you that,"Benedict said and scratched the back of his head uncomfortably."Confidential."

I nodded "Oh okay" I look back at Benedict, waiting for the next part of his story.

(I read that as 'Owcow' damn cows, hurting people)

"And, umm... Howard didn't tell me about it, but when I found out, I had to join, because I most certainly didn't want to get killed. So I faked it instead."Benedict shrugged.
