Nix shook her head "It's way too long" She said, as Kiwi licked Roxanne's hand again.

Roksana
"Wait, are they both your name? Isn't the second your middle name? Then it's only Clarissa, isn't it?" I asked petting Kiwi.

"Yeah they're both my name, mother does like things to be extravagant. Everything we have is extravagant" Nix noticed.

Roksana
"How so?" I asked. I was now getting really curious. She seemed to be such an interesting person, I just wanted to sit her down and make her talk forever.

"Big house, big gardens, big hair" Nix smiled lightly at the thought of her mother's hair. "To show her 'richness' I guess"

Roksana
"You seem not to like it", I noticed reflexively fixing my lipstick."How so?"

Nix brushed her fringe out of her eyes, not wanting to tell her the real reason. "Just, it must be nice to be able to stay in your own little bubble able to do what you want with next to no rules"

Roksana
"Oh, umm", I started. I really wanted to tell her, but, should I? I mean, little bubble? No rules? Russia had a lot of rules, rules which I broke by coming to New York and being what I am.

Nix glanced up towards her, waiting for her to finish her sentence.

Roksana
"Actually, no. I'm anything but free and without rules", I huffed rubbing the back of my neck.

"Really?" Nix asked, slightly surprised, still looking at her.

Roksana
"Actually I'm not American. I'm from Russia, where freedom is discouraged", I noticed bitterly.

"Woah... Never of guessed that. What's it like in Russia?" Nix asked.

Roksana
"Colder than here, definitely", I said with a slight smile. I really didn't like talking about myself or talking at all.

Nix smiled, still looking at her surprised. "When did you come to America?" She asked.

Roksana
"About a month, two ago, I don't know, I don't keep track", I said. "But I got this the first thing I landed", I shoved my jacket off of my left shoulder and showed her the city tattoo.

Nix beamed lightly at the tattoo, "That is so beautiful" She said, looking at it.

Roksana
I smiled brightly."Thanks. I got a couple more, but they're in places which aren't really polite", I giggled a bit.

Nix laughed slightly, "What are they tattoos of?" She asked.

Roksana
"Umm, the waist one is kind of hard to explain, but the ear one", I moved my hair away lightly to show her the little stars,"Yeah, stars. Lost a bet."

"You got a tattoo because you lost a bet? That is cool. What was the bet?" Nix asked, very happy to be just walking and talking to this girl. She seemed such a great person, someone I would like to spend time with again.

Roksana
"I had to kiss this guy from my class", I made a grimace."Now, I may be many things, but I'm not a slut, and I wanted my first kiss to be special, so I didn't and they took the poor fourteen year old me to a tattoo shop. I have no regrets."

"Fourteen? Wow that was young" Nix said, still gazing up at her. Nix thought it must be so awesome to just be allowed to do what you wanted with your body, but she knew her mother would never allow it.

Roksana
"Yeah. I don't think my mother even knows I have it. To her, I'm a goody-two-shoes. She doesn't even know about this", I pointed at the piercing.

"I spotted that earlier. It is so pretty" Nix said, smiling.
