Damn, I wasn't used to so many compliments. I felt my cheeks heat up. They were probably the same colour as my hair."Thanks. It's horrific when you have a cold."

"Oh I bet it is! Must be really annoying." Nix said, still smiling up at her.

Roksana
"What about you? Any acts of freedom your parents don't know about?" I asked ruffling my hair, something I did almost reflexively now.

Nix shook her head, "They would notice, straight away, or more Nanny would. She wouldn't mind but it's part of her job to tell mother everything" She sighed.

Roksana
"What would you get, if you could?" I asked, now asking not because I was polite, but because I wanted to know. Wanted to know everything about her.

"A tattoo of a quote from one of my favourite songs- ' "E' per l'amore che non ho

Roksana
I frowned lightly."Is that Italian? I'm sorry, my language skills are limited when it reaches out of Russian or English."

Nix nodded, "Yes. It means
'It's for the love I don't have, it's for the love I would like, its for this pain, its this, the love, I have for you that makes me go over these true storms'" She translated.

Roksana
"That's really pretty. I don't know many songs which aren't on any of the languages I speak", I shrugged lightly.

"I don't either" Nix said with a small shrug, "What's Russian like? Is it a nice language to learn?"

Roksana
"I wouldn't know, I've been speaking it all my life", I shrugged lightly fiddling with my laptop bag.

"What's it like compared to English?" Nix asked.

Roksana
"Very very different. Polar opposites, I'd say", I answered.

"Oh really? Was English hard for you to learn?" Nix asked, curious.

Roksana
"Well, not really, I had a friend who knew English perfectly so I was taught", I said."What about you? Any foreign languages?"

"A few, mother hired a private tutor to teach me" Nix said, shrugging lightly.

Roksana
"That's really cool, which ones?" I asked noticing the coffee shop we were approaching.

"Latin, French and Italian, if I was deseperate a little German" Nix said, lookin towards the shop.

Roksana
"That's amazing", I said. And I meant it, I've never met a person who was as interesting at her.

"It's money" Nix grumbled almost inaudibly before looking up at her with a smile, "Thank you. What would you like?" She asked.

Roksana
"Umm, I've never been here before. What would you suggest?" I asked her.

"Caramel latte, sweet but divine" Nix said, looking at the shop.

Roksana
I smiled lightly."I'll get that then. Shall I find some seats?"

Nix nodded, "Okay" She said, passing her Kiwi's lead before heading to the counter to get the drinks.

Roksana
Since there was no place upstairs I lead Kiwi downstairs. It was much cosier, more intimate and quieter here. I sat down and started braiding Kiwi's fur abstenmindedly.
