"I get worse" Sherlock shrugged, not really caring what others thought about him.

"That's quite sad. But don't worry about that, JK Rowling got rejected many times and now she's bathing in eternal glory. Wow, that's a nasty mental image", John frowned a bit.

"She wrote the greatest children's book series ever, I don't write children's books" Sherlock noticed.

"Excuse me for trying to help. Keep on rolling in self pity", John snorted.

"I am not rolling in selfpity, I am just stating what it true" Sherlock replied.

"Yes, yes. I shall leave you alone, you have a negative vibe", John teased as he got up. Enterprise was probably lonely.

Sherlock rolled his eyes, before looking around the café.

Sherlock held the bundle of papers, which was his latest book, under his arm and knocked once on John's door.

"Get off, Enterprise", John shoved the unusually cuddly cat off of his lap."A second", he said to the person who knocked as he saved his latest edit. He then paced to the door and opened it."Oh, hello, Sherlock."

"You said you wished to see this" Sherlock said, gesturing the papers under his arm.

"Is a hello too much to ask for?" John muttered to himself as he removed Enterprise away from sherlock with his leg." Yes, that's great, come on in."

Sherlock nodded lightly and gazed around, he remembered viewing this flat when he came to look at 221B. But obviously some stuff had been moved around as John had settled in.

"Sorry for the mess, cat likes to redecorate by messing with the furniture positions. I don't know how she does that, but apparently, my cat's a body builder", John joked as he moved an armchair away from the sofa."What did you say it was called, Kamikaze?"

Sherlock chuckled a little, "Yeah" He nodded, shifting the position of the papers to his other arm.

"Sit down, make yourself at home. Tea, coffee, anything?" John asked.

"Coffee, black with two sugars please" Sherlock said, sitting down on the sofa.

"Coming right up", John saluted as a joke and headed to the kitchen. Enterprise used that chance to hop onto Sherlock's lap and nuzzle into his thighs with loud purrs.

Sherlock's eyes widened slightly as he looked at the cat, he isn't a huge fan of animals. He continued staring at it for a second before gingerly stroking its' head.

"Just shove her off if she's bothering you", John advised Sherlock as he made some coffee. Enterprise has decided that she liked Sherlock so she dropped down face first and continued purring loudly into the inside of his knees.

"She's fine, she looks very content" Sherlock said, still looking down at the cat. He smiled lightly at her and stroked her again, along her back this time.

Enterprise let out a happy sigh."I think she likes you. That'd be the first", John noticed preparing the mugs, because cups were too fancy for coffee.

Sherlock continued watching the cat, and kept stroking her, now not minding she was on his lap.

John finished the coffee and poured it into the mugs. He walked back to the livingroom and handed over Sherlock's coffee."I think she fell asleep."

"Thank you" Sherlock said, accepting the coffee. He looked at the cat again, "She is a very cuddly cat" He noticed.
