"The grip on the top of the board will stop you from slipping off when you push off." I said, and quickly demonstrated what I meant before returning to his side. "See? Not too difficult"

"Yeah you had practice", I muttered, still looking at the board with an uncertain look."The board might eat me, you know", I confessed.

"Doesn't have teeth, a mouth, a digestive system and it is inanimate, I think you will be fine" I said, with a reassuring smile at him.

Cali
I humphed and tried to mimick his actions, only to find myself falling backwards, the board rolling off to God knows where.

Frederick
I jumped forward and caught him before he did any serious damage. "Almost" I said, struggling slightly to say the word with this closeness. I could literally smell his hair, I had to admit, without sounding too weirdoish, it smelt fantastic.

Ah too close too close. Thank God for loose jeans. Trying to play it cool, I failed greatly."I TOLD YOU I WOULD KILL MYSELF WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" I shouted. If I leaned in just one tiny bit I could kiss him. Tiny.

I winced at his loudness, "Sorry, sorry" I repeated a couple of times. I felt flustered, and I was trying my hardest not to grab his face and snog him. See, another time acting comes in handy, I somehow managed to keep my cool.

Kiss me, you idiot, I thought, but when nothing happened for a few moments, I pushed myself up."You're such a good teacher, killing off your students", I said, my voice dripping sarcasm.

"Hey it means I get the next day off." I took a shakey breath, he made it so hard to breathe. "You wouldn't have died anyway because" I tapped on the helmet with my balled up fist "This would have protected you. The angle of the fall meant it was almost inpossible for you to fall on your neck"

Smartass."How do you know that, do you push people down on a daily basis to see how they fall?" That's an idea. Push me on your bed and let me pull you with me. Look, I'm even letting him top. This is going too far.

I chuckled lightly, and shook my head, heading to grab my skateboard before returning. "You fell at an angle of about 90, so you would fall straight onto your back. If it was an angle where your landing point would be your head then that is when you break necks" I explained, "You just need to put more weight on the leg that is on the skateboard"

"I think I stopped listening", I admitted and brushed myself off. I actually liked that I fell; I still felt tingling down my back on the places where he touched me. I can only imagine what kissing him might feel like. Uh, chills down my spine only thinking about it.

"Well, you will fail this class" I joked, smiling at him. Okay, Fred, you need to look away now so you aren't staring. I moved some attention to the wheel of my skateboard and spinning it.

My phone rang in the pocket of my jeans."This never rings, hello?" I spoke into the phone. Melissa's voice was on the line."Heeey sisteeeer!" "Are you drunk?" I asked and, with a sigh, walked away from Freddie."Maybe. A bit. Dave broke up with me." "Good, so that means he's good for me now." "Shut your whore mouth, you queer Charlie Sheen." "What is wrong with you." "All of the things." Okay, I was really not in the mood for her shit, so I walked back to my spot, slowly."But no, seriously. What's your opinion on him?" "Seven outta ten. Would bang." There was a gasp from the other side."What? He's hot!" "No, not you, but... Ugh! Call you later!" I looked at Freddie in confusion."No idea, don't ask."

I blinked, slightly confused by their conversation, it sounded odd. "Okaay" I said, and shook my head slightly. It would seem rude if I mentioned I heard part of the conversation, but it was hard not to. It just sounded a bit non-straight if you asked me, but hey I could have missed out on the whole context and made wtong assumptions.

"Oh God, how much of her did you hear? I think she has a drinking problem." And by that I mean how much of the conversation did you hear. I don't know why dion't I just tell him, it's not like I'm keeping it a secret. But it's probably irrelevant. He can't be mine.

"Just the last part" I said, with a small shrug looking towards him. But all that aside, he could be, might be gay. The things I would do if he was gay.. Focus, he will tell me if he wants to, and if he tells me, I'll tell him. Yeah, that is the deal I shall make.with myself. If he isn't gay I will cone out once I find a guy hotter. Which is easier said than done.

I fixed my fringe's position a little before knocking on the door. I knew I paid too much attention on my appearance when I was around him, he probably didn't care at all. I shrugged to myself, before checking my fringe was still in the right position.

"Melissaaaaa?" I called from my position on the sofa. Yes, I sleep on the couch. Because beds are overrated."Is it one of your boys?" I asked and shoved my head into the pillow. Nope too early for anybody. "No, it's probably one of yours", Mel answered from her room and made a cry in victory."Anyway, the door's open", she said and I repeated the same thing, only louder, into the pillow, so the visitor could come in her/himself.

I pushed the door open, "You do know creepy people will be able to get into your house if the door is open?" I asked, closing the door and heading over to where the sofa was. I glanced at him and smiled lightly, still as hot as he was last time I saw him.

"What in the name of all the good is on this planet are you doing here at this ungodly hour?" I deadpanned into the pillow. God knows what I looked like. I said goodbye to pajamas a long time ago so now I slept in jeans and hoodies. Yes, not healthy, I know, but cease to care. And my hair, oh no. And I was probably all puffy-eyed and sparkly-eyed and dear lord you could stereotype quiz me right now and I wouldn't fail. Since when do I care about looks?

"It's not that early," I noticed, glancing at my watch. "And that was a very thought through sentence, usually it is 'why the fuck are you here so early?' not a ballad written by Shakespeare" I noticed, with a small chuckled. I was here quite early, admittedly, but is there an excuse for wanting to spend today with Cali? I think not.

"Why the fuck are you here so early' is short and nasty, and you know I have class", I said and pushed myself up yawning loudly."Ah, yes, so charming. Now what are you doing here?" Not that I minded. If you ask me, I'd let him see me wake up every morning. Sorry for mental imagery, but hey, it's true. Don't even let me get started, I could write a 50 thousand word noveletta about the things I would do to him.

"I was passing by.." I said, nodding to my skateboard balanced against the wall, small lie. I wasn't just passing by, here was my destination, but I couldn't think of a better cover-up excuse for I just wanted to see you and be around you all the time.
