"No, you can't ask, but it's just a few streets away. The only good pet-shop in town" I said, still looking towards him, I'm probably grinning like an idiot but I don't care, Cali is the best person to be grinning at, as he is usually the cause of the grin. Just the thought of him made me want to smile.

Cali
"You're embarrassing us", I teased him. Yeah, he's embarrassing us, not me, who tangled our fingers together. If anything's embarrassing, it's that.

Frederick
"Oh" If there is one thing I can't stand it is being embarrassed. Actually, the worst thing is being embarrassed and not able to escape that embarrassing situation. I have once or twice had a break down because of something embarrassing I've done, and I absolutely hate that feeling. I apparently have agoraphobia, which explains the nature of the breakdowns. The problem is, I get embarrassed so easily, even if I slip up on one word in a sentence I get embarrassed and flustered. My mother always said I was 'overreacting' I guess that is my job as an actor, but God is being embarrassed about everything annoying.

Cali
" 'Oh' isn't a word. It's a filler. Do continue", I continued looking at him, but as I did, I felt chills down my spine. What was that? Was it holding hands? Because I never did that with anyone, not even with Jen. He was different.

Frederick
"But I don't know how to finish the sentence" I replied, still looking back at him, giving his hand a squeeze before dragging him and trying to make him walk faster, "We will be middle aged by the time we get there" I complained.

Cali
"Hey", I just remembered, "how old you actually are? Because I don't want to hook up with a child and I don't think you told me."

Frederick
I paused to think, why is it so hard to think of your age when someone asks you? "I am twenty one- no twenty two" I always get the wrong age by adding or taking a year or so off my actual age. I don't mean to, I just get mixed up. "How about you, oldie, what is your age?"

Cali
"Ha, kid. Twenty three", I answered. I'm so competitive about the simplest things. First, height, then age. What's next? I fear for the time we actually hook up.

Frederick
"Ha, you're so old" I teased, poking his side. "Thank God, we're here" I said, stopping to look up at the sign above the door, "Too much walking. See, this is why I skate everywhere"

Cali
"Well spotted, I wouldn't've been able to do it myself", I said. I am almost a hundred percent sure wouldn't've is not correct.

Frederick
I scowled at him playfully before dragging him inside, "So what animal should I actually get?" I asked, gazing around the shop.

Cali
"Hm", I hummed and looked around. Then, when I noticed one employee, ultra cute one (but not doable, he's a bit too eh for me), I pointed at him."I want that one."

Frederick
I followed his point and looked at the employee, "I don't think you're allowed to adopt the employees" I laughed, shaking my head at him. The guy was cute, but no where near as good-looking as Cali.

Cali
"Well shit then. Let's go home", I laughed with him. What a lovely sound his laughter is. I was gaining a soft spot for that boy, and it doesn't mean it's necessarily good.

Frederick
"Noo, staay" I pouted, then dragged him to another spot in the pet-shop, gazing around the animals, quite happily. "Oh, look, a corn snake. The name corn snake is believed to have originated from the similarity of the markings on the belly to the chequered pattern of kernels of maize or Indian corn.
They are also sometimes called the red rat snake." I rambled slightly.

Cali
"You're not getting a snake", I shook my head and I looked around.

Frederick
"You're so mean" I complained, before dragging him to another corner of the shop. "Puppies" I said, gazing at the small cluster of puppies all asleep on top of each other. "How about a puppy?" I asked Cali, looking up towards him.

Cali
"It's your pet, not mine." I had a crush on a child. But it was cute, his excitement.

Frederick
"But you'll be hopefully coming over enough for it to partly become your pet" I said, looking into the pen.

Cali
Then why don't you invite me in? I was basically sleeping on a couch. Not basically, literally. And, well, I could get more action if I was with him all the time."Well now."

Frederick
"You have to have some opinion on what pet to get, but that doesn't count the employee" I added, watching the puppies.

Cali
"But the employee is, like, really cute", I told him. But not as cute as this little munchkin adoring the puppies.

Frederick
"Yes, but it would probably be illegal" I said, before clearing my throat and composing myself a bit so I stopped cooing at the puppies and looked over to Cali.

Cali
"I'm not gonna tell you what to do, you're on your own", I told him, "so you could stop looking at me and make a decision."

Frederick
"But I like looking at you" I complained, but returned my attention back to the puppies. "That one" I said, gesturing to the puppy that was at the bottom of the sleeping puppy pile.
