Zach came home around three am, stumbling across the small step below the front door. He smelt of alcohol and pity.

Drew's barking is what woke me up. "Shut up Drew." I said, reaching to his bed to find him not there. I stumble out of my make shift bed, and look around for him. I soon spotted him by the door and picked him up.

"Gut morgen."Zach said, his words slurred, effect of alcohol, but even in this state he had sexy German rs.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked, looking at Zach. I groaned and tried to drag him inside.

"Pfff, currently I am living, breathing, and trying to process all this booze, ugh!"Zach walked to the bedroom tripping on everything possible on the way.

Ellie
I tried not to laugh as he stumbled about. "Did you drink the bar dry?"

"Probably. Cons-considering my alcohol tol-tel-tola-tolerance,"Zach struggled with the words as he dropped onto the bed

Ellie
I rolled my eyes at him. Men are all the same. "Should I get you a glass of water?"

"Nah,"Zach waved his hand in the air distantly."I'll be fine after... after a pass-out, which I believe I will face soon."He said.

"Ah good. I will be able to get some peace then." I wanted to go back to the sofa, but I knew if I left him he could do something stupid

"What?"Zach said as he lowered his, his fuzzy but still sharp wooden brown eyes staring piercingly at her.

Ellie
"What are you whatting?" I asked, leaning against the wall.

"Well, you're staring at me in an awfully peculiar way."Zach said and pushed himself up as best as he could, but fell back on the bed almost instantly."Scheisse."He muttered.

"I am just thinking how much of an idiot you are" I say, yawning.

"Idiot indeed, in every category."Zach nodded, now bolting himself upward with both hands. His move was amazingly fast for a drunk, but as well amazingly inaccurate so our lovely Zachariah took a dive to the floor.

I sighed and walked over to him, helping get back onto the bed.

"Whoops,"Zach said, letting Ellie help him because he was slowly losing coordination of his limbs."A slight miscalculation here. I apologize."

Ellie
I was finding it hard not to laugh. "A very bad miscalculation." I said, as if talking to a child.

"If force equals mass times acceleration, and my mass is..."the rest of his words were slurred and unrecognizable, but he finished off louder."So you could say I fucked up."

"Even a smartarse while drunk. I'm in for a lot of fun for the next few weeks" I sighed, sarcastically.

"Huh? What do you mean by a smartarse? I am a genius!"Zach said trying to get up yet again, and failing, of course. So the hallucination drunk phase had started.

I shook my head. "Einstein was a genius. You're just a guy who knows stuff" I reply, walking back to where I was before.

"Einstein was an idiot. He failed first grade Maths. You know who was a genius? That guy Tesla. Born in Croatia, though everyone thinks he's from Serbia. Nitwits. He invented aC current and proved it on Niagara Falls. Smart guy, smart guy! He had a pigeon fetish, but brilliant never the less."Zach started rambling.

"Here we go" I muttered, rolling my eyes. "Shakespeare was a genius too, a genius in writing"

"Oh, Shakespeare was gay. But he wrote mighty fine straight romances. But the all die. Poof. And they're gone. "Zach made a boom-gesture in the air.
