"When is playing the violin going to help you. You can't exactly do much after learning how to play it" I say, stepping in front of Drew. "Leave Drew alone he hasn't done anything to you"

"Hmm, I'd disagree on both your statements here,"Zach frowned lightly and crossed his legs beneath him.

I bent down and picked Drew up, and sighed. "How is the violin practical?"

"It pisses people off."Zach cracked a full grin at Ellie.

"You got that right" I said, rolling my eyes.

"So yeah, that answers your question. That's why I play the violin. Verärgerung gets me to hell and backwards." Verärgerung. Annoyance. Zach was starting with the sexy German r's again.

"Why do you keep changing language? Are you just here to annoy me?" I sighed, rubbing Drew's head.

"Huh?"Zach asked turning his head towards Ellie, seemingly not noticing the bilinguality of his words.

"You keep switching languages, like you just said verargarung or something" I complained.

"Oh. Did I really? Sorry. It's elementary to me, my dear Watson. Verärgerung means 'annoyance'."Zach explained in a voice he'd use with children.

Ellie Douglass
I sighed and rolled my eyes "Thank you, smart-arse, I will keep that stored for if I ever need it"

"Probably not, because I tend to germanise every word possible. And translate to French. And Spanish. Sorry."Zach shrugged but didn't look very sorry.

"You are one of the most obnoxious people I have ever met" I sigh.

"Facta non verba, sugar. Deeds, not words. You don't even know me."Zach said.

"Considering the fact you have teased me about my job, threatened my dog and called me dumb, I find you to be extremely obnoxious"

"But hey, these are all facts. I am simply allergic to dogs. And I find you not very bright. And teen novelists, well, not all of them are very wise. But you may be different, I don't know. I try not to generalize, but considering the things I've been through, it is hard not to."Zach said.

Ellie
I sigh, and tighten my hold on Drew. "I will make sure Drew is kept away from you, as long as you don't hurt him. And I have different kind of intelligence, you are intelligent in the sense of language skills and stuff. I am intelligent in a different way."

"Enlighten me, then."Zach said and put the violin into its case and leaned backwards to the bed, elbowing himself up.

I sighed. "Fine. Jellyfish have no brain, instead they have a collection of nerves that tells their body what to do" I say. "The difference between an English Oak and a seiss (I can't spell) oak is the fact that English Oak acorns grow on stalks, Seiss means stalkless, as its acorns grow on the branch"

Zach's brown's eyes widened a bit. Huh. He didn't know that."Yeah yeah, that's grand and everything, but how will that ever be used in, you know, real life?"

I shrugged. "It helps during pub quizzes." I joke, before adding "Though it might be useful to know that you mustn't approach a reached whale, as its stomach could explode"

"Touché."Zach nodded in her direction."Hey, what's the time?"He asked, bolting upwards. Was he late? He couldn't be...

Ellie
"I don't know." I said, "Its hard to check the fine with a dog in your arms" I reply, wondering what he needed the time for.

"Shit shit shit shit-"Zach sprinted to the living room where the clock was at."Okay I am most definitely late. I'm out. Don't wait up."He said as he continued sprinting out the door, grabbing a coat on the way out.

"Okay. What was that about?" I asked; placing Drew down. I decided to make my bed on the sofa, then settled down to watch tv.
