"I thought you were just being lazy" Eragon said with a small smile and shrug. "Aren't there different types of colour blindness?" He asked.

"Yeah, but this isn't it. It's a genetic screw-up", Rosalen explained.

Eragon nodded "Oh okay, so what colours can or can't you see?" He asked.

"I can see black, white and grey", Rosalen said, in a self-explanatory way.

Eragon nodded "It must be like living in an old tv set"

"Wouldn't know. Turn right here", Rosalen said.

Eragon turned right, and looked down at her again "So what's your favourite colour?" He asked, jokingly.

Rosalen glared at him."Oh, I've heard quite a few of jokes like that. And a Rubik's Cube as a birthday present", she said.

Eragon raised his gaze again, "Okay sending you a Rubik's Cube is pretty mean"

Rosalen tsked."No crap, Sherlock! Go straight here."

"I will bare in mind to never buy you a puzzle that involves colour" Eragon said, walking straight on.

"Please don't. Remember, I own a gun. Legally", Rosalen warned him.

Eragon laughed, adjusting her slightly in his arms "RIP the person who bought Rosalen a Rubik's Cube for her birthday"

Rosalen blushed lightly again when his arm grazed her hip."Rest in Peace my butt, he was such a coward."

Eragon laughed, "So you did kill them?"

"Nah. Too much legal stuff to deal with", Rosalen winked at him."Okay we should be here."

Eragon laughed slightly, and looked up towards his apartment and nodded. "Just a few staircases and we're there" He said, pushing the door open with his back, then heading over to the lift. "Though, staircases require too much energy" He said "Could you press the button? My hands are full"

"Aw, am I that heavy?"Rosalen asked sarcastically and pressed the button giggling.

"No but if I was to drop you," Eragon said, before pretending to drop her "It might hurt"

"Don't do that. I warn you", Rosalen said.

Eragon laughed slightly "But what can you do? You're just about helpless in this position" He said, stepping into the lift.

"Screw you, I know karate and judo and like ten other dangerous words", Rosalen warned him.

Eragon laughed again, leaning against the wall of the lift. "But you're injured, I could easily beat you in a fight"

"True, true. But if I wasn't..."Rosalen grinned.

"Then I would be fucked" Eragon nodded, before stepping out of the lift and walking to the door. "Right. How are we going to do this?" he said, gesturing to the door.
