"What have I deserved to get such a lousy runner,"Benedict muttered sighing."Need help?"He asked smirking at her.

I scowled at his comment "Please" I say, balancing on my right foot. "anyway it weren't my fault; the drain was in the way" I add, leaning against him.

Benedict decided that it would be too slow for them to walk while she's leaning onto him, so he quickly scooped her up in a swift movement of his hands."There. Now you won't slow us down."

Amelia-May
It takes me a few seconds to process what happened, and when it did I smiled. It was harder than it should have been to not cuddle into his chest as he carried me.

"Now, we need a tent,"Benedict said as they reached a place he'd decided was appropriate. He put Amelia down and sat next to her. The tent can wait, first he needed to rest. From what? He scolded himself. For goodness sake, he's ran with twice bigger weight in his hands before? But yet again, she made him breathless.

I stretched my leg out in front of me, watching the last few raindrops fall from the sky. I feel one hit my nose, so I wipe it off with my sleeve, which, from the fall, was covered in mud so I smeared mud on my nose. I scowled looking at my nose by closing one eye. I find a clean piece of sleeve and try to wipe it off.

Benedict started laughing at her."May I ask what are you doing?"He said, suppressing laughter.

Amelia-May
I glance at Benedict and scowl. "Trying to get this mud off my nose" I say, finally getting the mud off. "Some of us like to look presentable" I add, making a face.

Benedict noticed mud on his hands as well."You missed a spot,"he said, drawing a line across her cheek with mud on his fingers.

I feel the trail of mud he left on my cheek and scowled again "Hey! Not cool!" I say, rubbing it off my cheek. I reach to the floor and grab a handful of mud and throw it at him.

Benedict protected himself with his hands and laughed at her expression. "That was really vile of you, miss evil."

(Mud fight; can't beat 'em)

I laughed at the mud covering his hand, I was about to make a run for it before realising I couldn't walk, let alone run. "Oh no" I mutter.

Benedict smirked at her as he walked towards her. He almost literally sat on her legs still smirking."What now?"

"Hey. No fair!" I laugh, trying to push him off, though failing miserably. "Get off" I laughed, moving my legs underneath him.

"Not until I find a way to revenge my shirt,"Benedict said. The sleeve was completely muddy, but he didn't seem to mind.

Amelia-May
"It gives your shirt character. It needed it" I say, smiling at him. Admittedly, it wasn't a bad shirt, it suited Benedict well.

"Shirt doesn't have to have character. The person wearing it does,"Benedict said, still sitting on her legs. This sort of closeness was new and odd for him.

Amelia-May
"Yes it does; a bullying character" I say, playfully jabbing him in the side, still smiling.

"You calling me a bully?"Benedict asked her smiling. His eyes were slowly, but steadily going back to the normal blue they used to be.

I gestured to my legs which Benedict were sat on "Yes, I am, sitting on people's legs isn't the nicest thing to do" I say.

"Throwing mud at people isn't either."Benedict said looking at her, just noticing how close they were.

Amelia-May
"Mud is good for your skin; so I was in fact doing you a favour by throwing something that is very nutritional for your face" I say, still wiggling my legs to get him off them.

Benedict got up shaking his head."You're impossible."He said as he began to put up a tent.

Amelia-May
"I am more hungry" I complain, relieved, but slightly disappointed, he had got up off my legs. I watch as he sorts out the poles, something which confuses me intensely.

"So?"He asked. He didn't even once look at the instructions, but the tent was set up in a record time.
