I blushed lightly, trying to find away to even out the compliment meter."I like your, hmm, shoes", I said awkwardly.

Nix giggled again, "Thank you" She said, either not noticing her awkwardness or ignoring it.

Roksana
"Well I'm out of topics to talk about which aren't either awkward or too personal", I said.

Nix paused to think, "So am I," She noticed sadly.

Roksana
"That's the universe telling us we shouldn't talk anymore today. See ya later then?" I asked.

Nix smiled and nodded, "Okay, see you" She said.

{skip, maybe nix comes to her place early in the morning so muffins are breakfast?}

Nix found her way to Roxanne's home, using the napkin she gave her as a guide. She knocked on the door.

[she needs an excuse to be there, what could it be?]

Roksana
I heard a knock on my door and nearly fell off of my bed. And what a fall it would be. {remember} Who could possibly be there at this ungodly hour? "It's open", I said raising my head from the covers just enough to see the visitor. Damn, it was open. Somebody could've killed me in my sleep.

Nix opened the door, "Good morning" She said, closing the door behind her.

Roksana
"Ah, drat", I muttered pulling the covers over me."It isn't morning yet, I didn't get up", I joked trying to arrange the sheets in a non awkward way.

Nix glanced at her watch, "Technically it is morning but okay" She said.

Roksana
"Nuh uh. What are you doing up so early?" I asked looking down at her. I had to get up, but I wasn't really comfortable with my body around anybody, and these pjs weren't helping.

"Mother has a 'friend'" Nix makes the quote marks with her hands "And they are making an ungodly racket" She sighed lightly.

Roksana
"Racket could mean a lot of things, you know." Damn it, I wasn't even wearing makeup! I probably looked like a five-year-old who already went through puberty. Without mascara, I practically didn't even have eyelashes.

"Noisy. Very, very noisy. I could hear them even though my room is in the attic" Nix shrugged, looking up towards her.

Roksana
"Ah, that kind of racket", I said. I should get down, I really should, but I felt so ashamed."I, uhm, got to get dressed..."

"Mhm" Nix sighed, "Shall I face the other way?" She asked, tilting her head a little.

Roksana
"That would be perfect, thanks", I said marching down the stairs, grabbing the glasses from my dresser and quickly changing. I put on some makeup and approached Nix."Now, that I'm looking like a proper human, hi."

Nix smiled brightly at her, "Is it morning now?" She asked.

Roksana
"Correct", I smiled back putting my hands on my hips."So, muffins?"

"Sure, okay" Nix said, nodding with a smile.

Roksana
"You promised me some of the poems, didn't you?" I asked taking out the stuff needed to bake. {eh}

"Oh right" Nix found her little notebook in her bag and pulled it out, flipping through it, trying to find a decent one. "Love is something that I can believe.

The most beautiful by far" Nix recited.
