Johnlock, #15

"I highly doubt we're friends", John said but kept on working, fidfling with the pencil in his fingers.

"Well you haven't hit him yet so I see that as progress" Mycroft noticed, leaning against his umbrella.

"We're not far from that", John asmitted as he glanced up at Mycroft.

"How's the diet, Mycroft?" Sherlock cut in, "It seems to be having the opposite affect from what it shiuld be doing. You've gained three pounds" "Two and a half" "Uh, three". Mycroft sighed, "Please try your best not to hit him" He said.

"I'm trying but it's rather hard", John said. Since the door wasn't closed, a very familiar cat gracefully made her way in and sat on Sherlock's legs.

Mycroft looked at the cat confused, as Sherlock smiled lightly and stroked her. Mycroft coughed and looked back towards John, "I know it gets very hard at times, keep up the good work though"

"I don't plan on spending much time around him, he's slowly taking over my cat", John said.

"No, your cat clearly jumped on my knee so she is taking over me." Sherlock replied, as Mycroft sighed lightly.

"Figures",John scoffed."Ei, come here, can I edit this? It will make the sentences longer, so when you go to attack the plot you can use shorter, flashier sentences."

Sherlock glanced at him, "Do what you want, you know best" He said, not moving from his position.

"No, no, no, it changes the sentence order, some writers hate it when someone touches their work", John explained.

Sherlock gently picked up the cat and went over to John, glancing over his shoulder, looking at the writing. "It'd make sense to do that"

"And I thought you were a pain in the arse", John mumbled for himself.

"Mhm, everyone does" Sherlock said, returning to his seat, still holding the cat.

"Just because you give them that idea", John said continuing to ignore Mycroft. Work is work.

"I only notice things about people and point them out, they think it is my fault their wife is sleeping with the postman" Sherlock said, also ignoring Mycroft who was tapping his foot impaitently.

"Discretion, Sherlock. Didn't your mother teach you that?" John asked scribbling around the edges of the story.

"No, she didn't" Sherlock noticed, watching John and gently stroking Enterprise.

Enterprise curled even more into Sherlock."Shame, you could've been a proper man."

"'A proper man'? I am sure I am male, and I speak proper" Sherlock replied, looking down towards Enterprise.

"Proper as in polite", John explained a bot further. Enterprise made a low purring noise as she licked her paw and started cleaning her ears.

"Polite. I can be polite" Sherlock said, as Mycroft coughed to reannounce his presence, "No you can't. I cannot remember the last time you thanked anyone for anything" He said, looking at Sherlock.

"Liar liar pants on fire", John teased as he edited one section.

"My pants aren't on fire" Sherlock complained, making Mycroft sigh.

"It's... Never mind", John gave uo and focused on his work, hoping that Mycroft doesnt ask any questions. Ah, but he probably will.
