"You two are just like an old married couple" Mycroft noticed, "When is the happy annoucement?" He asked.

"What happy announcment?" John cared just enough to raise his head from the papers.

"To announce when you're together" Mycroft replied, looking directly towards John.

John dismissed hiw words with a shake of his head.',"Never, because we're not together."

Mycroft chuckled, "Sure" He said, smiling at tge teo of them.

John continued drawing zigzags on the paper."Yes, sure. You might find it interesting, but I'm not actually gay."

Mycroft continued smiling, "And I believe you" He said, with a glance over at Sherlock who was staring blankly at the wall.

"Too relaxed to argue", John said calmly and looked away from Mycroft.

Mycroft chuckled again, "I had better be going, bye, brother dear. His friend" He nodded before walking out of the door. Sherlock sighed, "Sorry about him. I would say he is worse than me"

"You're both equally amusing", John said, noticing that Sherlock didn't disagree on Mycroft's delusions.

"Amusing?" Sherlock repeated, "How are we 'amusing'?" He asked, looking over at John.

"Your dealing with social situations is laughable", John said.

"Why is it laughable?" Sherlock asked.

"It's rather bad, if you haven't noticed yet", John clicked his pen.

"Mm. Not that bad" Sherlock replied, stroking the cat still.

"No, not at all", John mocked him while crossing a section of his scribbles.

Sherlock scowled at him, before changing the subject. "How long does it take to edit?"

"To edit what? You have to specify", John said.

"I was obviously talking about my novel you are currently editting" Sherlock sighed, a bit dramatically.

"Oh, this. With my current level of actual work to do, might take a month, two", John answered.

Sherlock nodded, "Okay" He said, looking back towards the cat.

"Okay, too long, or okay, too short?" John asked

"Too long, but I can't expect you to do it faster" Sherlock replied.

"No you can't", John said with a glint of amusion."I mean, I'm not geting paid or anything."

"Money. That is all people care about. They want money for every little thing they do" Sherlock noticed.
