"I'm not a lemming, we stated that I am a dolphin", John complained."Are you sure we lost him?"

"Dolphins don't run" Sherlock noticed, "I presume so, I don't think he is intelligent enough to establish we can turn down alleyways"

"You're very self confident, Holmes", John said. He didn't quite fancy this alleyway's size.

"And you're very short. I rely on facts, and I usually see those facts written all over people, you just have to know where to look. I am rarely wrong" Sherlock said.

"Where on Earth did you go to school? Do they teach you how to be a major arsehole there", John scoffed.

"I didn't go to school, I was tutored at home" Sherlock replied.

"Your poor parents", John said leaning against a wall some more. Personal space obviously wasn't in Sherlock's dictionary.

"Oh, I never saw them, it was mostly just Mycroft and my Nanny who I saw" Sherlock said.

"That's kind of sad", John said and peeked out of the alleyway.

"Not really" Sherlock said. He still wasn't completely sure where the man had gone, and he could be lingering anywhere. Sherlock reached forward and pulled John back into the alleyway, the man could see him and if he did see him there was a chance he would attack him. Sherlock stood between John and the alley entrance. He scanned the surronding area for any signs of the man.

"What?" John asked brrathing heavily from the pull. Whoa. Too close.

"We have no idea where he is, he could be just waiting for one of us to stick out our head before he attacks" Sherlock said, with a quick glance to John.

"What have you dragged me into?" John asked."Coffee, eh?"

"I didn't know we would meet mad man on the way or I would have taken you the shorter way to the café" Sherlock said.

"Why did you even take the long way?" John asked.

"More scenic, you're new to these parts so I thought you would like to see the sights, seems we met some crazy guy instead" Sherlock noticed.

"I met the crazy man a few weeks ago", John said eyeing Sherlock.

"The crazy man? Well that's subtle, usually there is more swearing" Sherlock noticed.

"I could swear, but I was raised not to", John laughed quietly.

"Good, because swearing is basically pointless" Sherlock said, with a small smile.

"True. Are we safe yet?" John asked with a professional tone in his voice.

"We are never safe" Sherlock noticed, "But from the man, I think so"

"Don't be overly dramatic", John scolded him and brushed off his jumper.

"I am not being overly dramatic, I am being realistic" Sherlock replied, walking out of the alley.

John followed him, this time catching up with ease."Because you dragged me around you're buying coffee."
