Seven minutes."Is the movie press any good or are they shitting on the movie like it was made my M. Night Shyamalan?"

Frederick
"They seem okay, they haven't tried to eat us alive" I replied, now trying to work out why Cali had called me. It can't just be because he is curious about the film.

Cali
Screw it, I wanted to eat him alive at this point."So..." Four minutes. Can I keep this conversation just a bit longer?

Frederick
"What have you been up to recently?" I asked, generally interested. "What have you done at school?"

Cali
Skipped most of my classes. Nearly hooked up in a closet. Long story." Nothing much", I said. Three minutes.

Frederick
"Surely you have done something? You can't have just sat on your sofa staring at a blank screen all day" I replied.

"Who says I didn't? God knows that I do that most of the time", I 'laughed'. It sounded forced in my head and it sounded forced when said out loud. Two minutes.

Frederick
I smiled lightly, but knowing I will probably get nothing more on that subject, I switched it so because God forbid he hangs up. "How has Mel been? You've not got backache from being on the sofa have you?"

Cali
"Why do you think I went to Mel?" Two minutes. Oh, come one, where else would I go? I already proved not to have any friends when we lived together, right?

Frederick
"Well that's where you were before, so it'd make sense that you'd move back in" I noticed.

Cali
A minute. I switched to running, even if it means I'll arrive all disgusting and panty. I just wanted to see him."Ah, I've moved in with someone else", I tried to keep my voice well balanced, hard, because of running.

Frederick
"You have? Who?" I asked, slightly surprised, oh this call makes more sense now. He is subtly trying to tell me he's moved on. Got a new boyfriend, hasn't he?

Cali
I arrived. Took a few deep breaths because I am a shit when it comes to running. And knocked on the door.

Frederick
I glanced at the door, but kept my phone in my hand as I walked to the door. I unlocked it, and stared in shock at the person stood there. First a call, now turning up at my door? Why?

Cali
"Why are you so shocked, Melissa's flat is just a walk away." I was still panting lightly, but nothing too bad. God, I didn't even realize how much I had missed him until I saw him standing in front of me.

Frederick
"I just didn't expect you to come here" I replied, knowing I was probably smiling a bit too much, it's just so great to see him again. I took a step back from the door so he could come inside.

Cali
"No, no, this was a bad idea, I shouldn't have come, I'm sorry-" I was apologizing way too much these couple of months. I nearly walked away, but something was stopping me. A thought. Make me stay. Even if it's wrong, make me stay.

Frederick
"Please, come in, even if it is just for a minute. Bonnie will want to see you. She's missed you" She's not the only one. I didn't want him to leave again, he walked all the way here, so why make him walk back mere seconds after arriving.

Cali
"I-" and that's when I just lost it. I ran those couple of steps and hugged him, burying my face into the arch of his neck. Don't ever leave me again.

Frederick
It only took a second for me to wrap my arms tightly around him, resting my head against him. My God had I missed him.

Cali
"Fuck what everybody wants to say, I want to be with you", this wasn't cheesy, this was a goddamn cliche. But what can I do. I watch movies for a living.

Frederick
"I couldn't agree with you more" I mumbled, not wanting to ever pull out of the hug. It just meant too much.

Cali
"B-but, the movie's out now, won't that get you horrible amounts of bad press?" Oh shit, do we have to keep us a secret? Was there 'us' at this point?

Frederick
"Aren't I already getting lots of press?" I didn't care much about the media, they will always have their thoughts.

Cali
"But everybody went straight to the conclusion that you were straight and God knows how many actors are in the closet because of the idiots who do the casting, 'oh look, that guy's gay, let's not hire him'. I don't want that to happen to you and fuck it all I missed you", I kissed him. Too close, he was way too close for my body to react in any other way.
