Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

"Near the center", I reply. "What about you?" I ask eager to know more about what had happened to her.

Victoria
"I live right on the edge, best view of the old city and a good look out for if any infected are coming." I replied, glancing at him with a slight shrug.

"No wonder I never saw you", I think out loud. "Where to next?", I ask.

Victoria
I held out my hand to stop him walking and talking, "Shush" I shushed him. The quiey shuffle of feet could just be heard, "I think some zombies are going to Hell" I said, pulling out my gun and cocking it.

I mimic her movement and pull out my gun. "Woah, déjà vu", I whisper. The shuffling came closer and I tense. To be truthful I hadn't seen or felt with any zombies in months.

(Youre not suppossed to feel the zombies)
Victoria
I fired a shot into the zombie's head. "I've missed this" I noticed, twirling the gun round my hand.

"Aww", I say disappointed. "I wanted to shoot it". I put my gun back in its pocket and turn to Victoria. "We should regroup and head back to base", I suggest.

Victoria
"Yeah, probably best" I nodded, and let him lead the away. I kept my gun out just in case.

(more zombies?)

I keep walking but look behind me at Victoria. As I turn the corner something knocks me to the ground. "Ah, shit", I exclaim and try to push the zombie off of me.

Victoria
I instantly snapped my head over to Johann as he swore. I cocked my gun to shoot the zombie, but I feared I would hit Joe. So I trotted to his side and kicked the zombie off of him then shot it once it was away from him. "Do not put your fucking gun away next time!" I snapped, but scanned over him to check he was okay and not bitten.

"Oh man, that was close", I say and rub my eye with my hand. As I take my hand away from my face I see a trickle of blood running from my wrist to my elbow. I bolt up and stare at the cut. "Shit, shit. Holy mother fucking, bloody shit!", I exclaim.

Victoria
I stared at his wrist before dropping to his side. I grabbed his arm and stared at it. "Oh shit" I fumbled in my pocket and pulled out a wad of tissue, gently wiping the blood away. "Did it bite you? Or scratch?" I asked, trying not to panic. Johann can't get infected. He just can't. He is the only thing to make the world feel a little brighter.

My heart seemed to be about to burst out my chest from panic. "It cant have. I must have caught it on something else", I say mostly to myself while thinking millions of swear words. "Shitting hell", apparently swearing on the inside wasn't enough.

Victoria
"Yeah. Yeah, that is what happened" Desparate for it to be true. Ha, look at me, caring about a guy I had hardly spent any time with. Normally I don't care about people until I had spent months with them. Here I am almost panicking because this guy might have been bitten. Way to ruin your character Vicky. I continued cleaning the wound, now searching my bag for antiseptic. "This will sting" I muttered, putting the antiseptic on his wound.

I wince as the antiseptic touched the wound. "Not as bad as a bullet", I say with a smile. I take big breaths and wait for my heart rate to slow. "Thanks", I say quietly and smile up at Victoria.

Victoria
"Anytime" I murmured, grabbing a bandage and wrapping it round it. "Lets fucking hope that God at least has some caring in him. So you won't become infected"

A sudden thought struck me, "Why do you swear so much?" I ask. "I mean most people who swear are either angry, pissed, or crazy".

Victoria
"I am the latter" I replied and stood up, offering my hand to help him up. "Swears are just part of my vocab. I guess it is like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. He says like all the time- instead, I swear."

I take her hand and pick myself up off the floor. "Ever since you were a kid or recently, because if it was the former you must have had an interesting childhood".

Victoria
"Interesting is definitely one word" I said, keeping my gun close to me as I start walking again. "I picked it up off my old man, he swore all the time. I got into so much trouble in English schools because of it" I added, smirking. "The British do hate foul fucking language"

(I keep thinking of Cali and his swearing)

"Mmm, their all about their tea and crumpets", I agree. "Hold on", I suddenly catch on "Your British?"

"And I was beginning to think you're intelligent" I teased him, "Yes, I am. Hiding the accent is the hardest thing to do" I replied, continuing my walk. "I don't like crumpets" I add almost quietly- not to ruin his thought on the British.

"Why hide it", I follow her. "The British accent is sexy", I admit. "Ah, not to mention the Scots", I continue. "Their accent can make a grown man drool".

Victoria
I giggled softly at him comment, "Dad always told me to hode it. I don't think we were actually brought her legally" I said, dropping my fake accent gor him. It was nice to talk normally, I hadn't since Dad had passed, I promised I wouldn't tell people. I believe Johann to be an exception to this. I look back to him and smile slightly.

Shivers run down my spine at her words. "Didn't it ever bother you that no one knew?" I ask. It must have taken a lot of effort to hide it all the time.
