Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

Victoria
At the sound of my name, I look up, but sighed. "Not going to snog your fucking boyfriend in front of me again are you?" I felt reassured by the small canopy of leaves that just blocked me out of view, even if I was able to see Johann perfectly, Lucas walking over to his side and looking around, confused.

I look up in the general direction of her voice, moving to the trunk of the tree. "Victoria, what are you doing up there? Your afraid of heights". I start to climb the lower branches.

Victoria
"And you promised never to hurt me" I whispered, tightening the grip around my legs more. I rested my head on my knees and pressed my eyes into them until I saw stars.

"I never meant to hurt you", I say as I reach her side. I sit beside her, "that kiss meant nothing". I sigh, "and I'm definitely not gay". I look straight at Victoria, "and I should know, because...Victoria...I think I ... love you".

Victoria
I raised my head at his words, my eyes widening. I felt more tears falling down my cheeks as I wrapped my arms around him, burying my face into him again. I could tell Lucas was waiting at the foot of the tree but I didn't care, I just clung more tightly onto Johann.

I wrap my arms around Victoria. "How could you think I would ever hurt you?", I ask.

Victoria
"I've learnt not to trust people" I replied, happy with the sudden rush of warmth and comfort.

"Trust in me", I whisper. "When I say that I am so in love with you it hurts", I continue as a shiver runs through me.

Victoria
I looked up towards him, taking in a small breath. I may be good at expressing opinions, I have never been good at expressing feelings. I gazed at him for a.good few minutes in silence. "I trust you. More than anyone else" I whispered back then, even quieter I added "I love you too". At first I didn't believe I had said it. But I didn't want to reach out and grab the words before he heard them because I knew they were true. I did love Johann. And I'm not sure what could change that. "I love you" I repeated, closing my eyes to nuzzle into him.

I cup Victoria's face with my hand. Leaning forward, I hesitate before kissing her gently.

Victoria
In the second of hesitation, it gave me chance to scan his face and eyes quickly, before I leant forwards and kissed him. I felt this kiss was different from the others, but it was no less nice. I moved one of.my hands up to his hair, fiddling with the ends.

I shivered slightly at her touch. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pull her closer, deepening the kiss.

Victoria
I pulled back after a second, sighing lightly. "Joe, Lucas is watching" I mumbled, and sure enough Lucas was sat a little way from the tree staring up at us. I gave him one last kiss before leaning back completely so I wasn't against Johann anymore.

I lean back and sigh heavily. "Yeah", I agree. I look down at Lucas "But I really wish he wasn't". I turn and face Victoria, "what are you going to do?"

Victoria
I gave Johann a small smirk before climbing down the tree. "Oh hey Lucas" I said, moving so I was directly facing him before curling my left hand into a fist and moving it back. It made contact with his face faster than I anticipated, but was quite happy with the results. My hand had swerved and caught the side of Lucas' nose so he had fell to the floor, clutching a bloody nose that looked slightly crooked, "Fucking wanking cunt", I growled at him before stalking off and sitting on a tree root a little distance from him so Joe could sort out the problem.

I jump down after Victoria and stand beside Lucas, slightly surprised by her punch. "Sorry, hun", I say to him. "But I'm spoken for", I wink and click with my mouth, Sherlock style.

Victoria
I grumbled at Johann's comment, wiping the blood that was on my hand onto my trouser leg. Lucas had pulled some tissue out of his pocket and held it lightly against his nose to try and stop the bleeding. "You will need to try and put your nose back into its original place" I called sharply to Lucas who just seemed scared by that.

I walk over to Victoria and lift her hand up. I pull out a cloth and wipe off the blood, not bothering to help Lucas up. "There's gonna be a nasty bruise there for a while", I say.

Victoria
I laugh coldly at that, removing my hand from his grasp, hugging myself and resting my head on my knees. "I doubt he will travel with us now, but you seem to be the more medical one- so go help him. He will be in a lot of pain, a broken nose is horrible"

I nod slightly and head over to Lucas. I bend down to examine his nose. "Woah, that's one nasty brake", I comment. I place my thumbs on either side of his nose, "this won't hurt a bit". I add pressure to one side and push the bones back into place.

Victoria
I watched as Lucas flinched and I snorted slightly, "Wuss". I did feel a bit guilty about what I had done but.then again he fucking deserved it. Lucas looked at Johann and sighed, "I do believe it will be a bad idea for me travel with you. Your girlfriend will probably break more of my bones, sonwthing I most definitely don't.need to happen"

"Mm", I agree. I hold out my hand to help him up and say, "the parting of ways". I shake my head slightly, "and she's not my girlfriend".

Victoria
"Oh really? You do both seem rather close.." Lucas trailed off, just as I called over to him "Nope definitely not his girlfriend" I kept looking the opposite directiob of the two. "Well, I guess this is goodbye" Lucas said, "Good riddance" I replied.

I salute and head over to Victoria. "Hell of a day", I comment and link my fingers with hers.

Lucas casts us one last glance before walking off. I squeeze Johann's hand gently, and kiss just below his ear before resting my head on his shoulder. "Tell me about it", I sighed, closing my eyes and spreading out my legs.
