Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

I smile and cuddle up to Victoria. "Should we find somewhere to camp for the night?", I ask as I rest my head on hers.

Victoria
"That's a good idea" I replied, before adding "I'm not putting up the fucking tent though" I hate putting that thing up with a passion.

I nod and stand up, pulling Victoria with me. I start to walk in the opposite direction to which Lucas had gone. After a few yards I find a flat patch and sling my bag onto the floor, "here?"

Victoria
"Better than nowhere" I said, finding a comfy seat so I could watch Johann put up the tent. "Joe, what are we?", I asked, looking at him carefully.

I look over my shoulder at Victoria while starting to put up the tent, "what do you mean?". I put half the tent up in a flash, used to doing it by now.

Victoria
"Like status, are we just platonic friends? In a relationship? Or what?" I asked, looking down to my fingers where I was twiddling my thumbs.

I consider it for a moment, "well that depends on how far you'd like this to go". I finish putting the tent up and sit down next to Victoria. "We could always be friends with benefits", I laugh slightly but my face turns serious as I look at her.

Victoria
His comment received a dark glare, and shook my head lightly. "I'm..I'm not sure how far I would like to take it. I mean you're the bestest friend I've ever had" I said, looking back at my hands.

I take her hands in mine and kneel down in front of her. "And your the only friend I've ever had", I say quietly. "This can go as far as you want it to go".

Victoria
I lifted my head to meet his gaze, a smile tugging on my lips. I reached over to him and kissed him lightly. "I don't know" I replied, studying his eyes carefully, once I had pulled back from him. "I just know I love you"

A smile spreads across my face. "I love you more", I say as I lean forward to kiss her. "How about this", I say quietly. "We see how it goes for now and we can decide where we are later".

Victoria
I hummed in slight agreement, "Fine, that works" I said, now standing up, using my left hand to pull him up as my rightt shoulder was still killing me, even if I didn't show it. "It'll be warmer in the tent" I observed and walking inside it.

I follow Victoria into the tent and flop down onto the bed. "How's your shoulder?", I ask, concerned.

Victoria
I lower myself more carefully than Johann, "It's fine", I mumbled, I was sat looking down towards Joe. It was painful, yes, and I doubt I will be able to use it for a while, but I'll be fine. I don't want Joe to fret about it.

I frown slightly, "you sure?". I turn to the side and rest my head on my hand so that I was facing Victoria. "I mean you do have a hole in your shoulder".

Victoria
"I'm fine" I said, brushing him off, reaching one hand down to take one of his hands. "I don't want you to fuss" I added.

I grasp her hand in mine and turn to lie on my back. "Okay, but if it does start to hurt don't just ignore it", I say. "Let me help you", I add.

Victoria
I laid down next to him, resting my head on his shoulder. "And how would you be able to help?" I asked, looking towards him through my eyelashes.

I run my fingers through her hair and lean forward, kissing her slightly. "That all depends on how much you trust me", I whisper.

Victoria
"I trust you more than anyone else" I murmured back, not moving my look from him.

"Then let me take a look at it", I say quietly. "I might be able to take the pain away".

Victoria
"How? I do not see that as possible" I replied, raising an eyebrow at him.

I shrug, "I have some medical experience". I tentatively place my hand on her shoulder and raise my eyebrows at her, "Can I?"

Victoria
I sighed and nodded, "Do as you please" I mumbled, sitting up again, wincing lightly at his touch.

I carefully pull back her sleeve and unwind her bandages. I take a cloth and clean the blood from around it. "Okay", I say quietly. "It looks as though it might be slightly infected". I rummage around in my bag for the medicine. I pull it out and find the antiseptic. "This may hurt", I say and place another cloth with it on onto the wound.
