"Obviously" I say, reaching for the tv remote.

"Oh god" I say, throwing my phone onto the sofa. I stood up and walk to where my clothes were stored. I find some clothes that look 'professional' enough and got changed in the bathroom.

Zach was lying on his stomach on the sofa, again reading, again something else."What's the hurry?"

"My publisher has asked me to be at this meeting in fifteen minutes, and it takes at least twenty to get there " I say, brushing my hair. I had no idea what to do about it. I tried to plait it but it failed badly, I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Why don't you just leave it as it is? Your hair I mean,"Zach said glancing at her over the book.

"Because this meeting is very important, I need to make a good impression, and not look like I just got out of bed." I say, my voice slightly hurried.

"Come here,"Zach made a waving gesture at her in the air. {you know.}

I glanced at him before walking over to him. "What?" I asked.

"Did you not hear me? Come here,"Zach repeated sighing deeply.

I walk over to him.

"Calm now,"Zach said as he pushed himself upwards. He started braiding her hair in fluid and swift movements.

I watched him, confused to why he was so good at plaiting hair. "How is it fair you can plait hair better than I can, and you're male"

"You're moving,"Zach warned her, and after thinking for about half of a minute, he wrapped his legs around her, forbidding her to move."Hey, I've had far too many hair troubles in my day. Most of them were caused by crazed women. So shh."

I try not to pull away as he wrapped his legs around me. It was quite an awkward position. "By crazed women, you say?" I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Crazed women, I tell you."Zach confirmed."Like, a few years ago, people'd go to me with questions like, how to get a chewing gum out of your hair, what is the most effective shampoo, can i wash my hair with olive oil, and one of them was how to make a braid."

"so did you tell them to sit in a idiotic position in the middle of their living room to dry their hair?"

"You're moving, and if you're moving, I can't make it right. Shock almost always does the thing,"Zach shrugged.

I scowled but sat still "Anyway why would anyone ask you for hair tips, your hair looks like its just been pulled out of a tumble dryer"

"Because people think, oh gee, this guy is smart, he'll have interest in my hair! And it's called curly or an afro, thank you very much,"Zach growled a bit.

"So they ask you everything? Like what was I before I was reincarnated?" I say, trying to think of a ridiculous question.

"Yes, they actually did. I once told a women she was a strand of grass, just for the 'lulz'. Didn't quite go as I planned."Zach said and let her go."There. Finished. What the hell is that meeting anyway?"He asked folding his legs beneath him.

I pulled away from him, probably too fast. "Something about the book idea I had." I said, grabbing me coat. "Thanks by the way!

Zach made a military goodbye to Ellie and went back to his book.

"Oh, don't do anything to Drew, it won't be worth it" I say, walking out the door.
