"When could it possibly be?"Zach asked.

Ellie
I shrugged. "At sometime in your life it will be important" I replied.

"No answer then. Cool."Zach said sarcastically.

Ellie
"So where have you been going for last week or so?" I asked

"Why askin'?"Zach asked grabbing a book from the coffee table.

Ellie
"Because I am nosey" I say, repeating my argument from before.

"Give me your theories on where was I,"Zach said, amused.

Ellie
"Well one theory is you went out with your friends, though you have none so that theory was kicked out the water" I say

"Okay, and you are correct. I did not go out with friends."Zach said.

Ellie
"so where have you been going?" I asked.

"Places,"Zach shrugged.

Ellie
"Thank you, Zachariah. That has answered all my questions, including the Da Vinci code." I reply

"You're welcome,"Zach smirked.

Ellie
"What places?" I asked, glancing at him.

"Mostly restaurants." And offices. And schools.Zach thought.

Ellie
"Why have you been going to restaurants?" I say, still looking at him over the top of my newspaper.

"Guess,"Zach flipped a page.

Ellie
I groaned "I doubt it was cooking, you would probably drown workmates in cream then drenched them with freezing water" I say, recalling our food fight.

Zach's eyebrow raised lightly."Not quite."He answered. Close, but not quite.

Ellie
"Do you sit and eat food, reading?" I asked

"You're kinda getting closer. Keep guessing, maybe tomorrow you'll get even closer,"Zach said, that ever-present underestimating tone in his voice again.

Ellie
"You do know it will be so much easier if you'd just tell me" I say, glancing at him.

"Nah, I don't really feel like talking."Zach shrugged lightly.

Ellie
"C'mon please?" I say, watching him.

"If you really want to know, I was on a job interview,"Zach said, a slight note of disinterest in his voice.
