I yawned, and shifted myself, glancing at Zachariah as I did.

"Okay I can't keep my eyes open. Let's call it a night, shall we? I'll finish it tomorrow,"Zach got up yawning lightly.

Ellie
I nodded, "it is getting late" I agreed, sitting up.

Zach turned off the work lamp on hus desk and stretched heading to the bathroom. After he changed to PJs and brushed his teeth, he went to bed."G'night."

Ellie
"Night Zachariah" I say as he leaves. I glance at the mess on his desk,I walk over to it and look at all the books. I decide the only way I could help is tidy it up a bit. I arrange all the books alphabetically and tidy his pens into a neater pile. Once it was tidy I walked back to the sofa and flopped on top of it.

I laid facing the back rest part of the sofa.

Zach came in the living room looking like death on vacation and bumped Ellie."Good mooooorning."

Ellie
I groaned "too early" I complained, shifting my position.

"No it isn't."Zach complained."Hey, did you mess with my desk?"

Ellie
"Your desk was the mess" I replied, sitting up and brushing some stray hairs out of my face .

"It was a creative mess,"Zach complained."But what did you do?"

Ellie
"I tided it" I say, glancing towards him.

(I cannot spell the past tense if tidy and it is annoying me.)

"Oh."Zach said frowning lightly."Thanks."

Ellie
"Y'welcome." I say, standing up.

"Umm, but why?"Zach shook his head lightly, not understanding.

Ellie
I shrugged, "I dunno, just thought it would help" I say.

"Well, umm, it kinda does, thanks again,"Zach said, looking at her with unusual warmth in his eyes.

Ellie
I smiled at him, brushing my hand through my hair.

"I have a few hours before work, though."Zach said walking to the kitchen.

Ellie
"So how did you meet Maya?" I asked, following behind him.

"Uh oh. I should not talk about that,"Zach said. Not really a good idea to tell your friend-who-you-wish-to-be-a-bit-more about your girlfriend.

Ellie
"Awh why not?" I asked, glancing at him, leaning against the island.

"It would be... Kinda awkward."Zach shrugged.

Ellie
"So? Tell us the story" I say, still looking at him.
