"Why?" I asked, from the bathroom, where I was putting some make-up on.

Zach sighed."Because I am lazy, that's why."

"You were all excited about it before" I comment, walking out of the bathroom and heading to the living room.

"Eh. It fades."Zach said rolling his eyes.

"Please come" I say. "Anyway, you've got changed now, might as well go" I add, not looking at him.

"Eh,"Zach repeated."Lead the way. But don't expect me to drive,"he added.

Ellie
I sighed and pulled out my car keys. Once in the car I got a full look at Zach. That vest really worked on him. But I couldn't say anything. It would make things more awkward than they already are.

Zach sat shotgun and buckled himself up."Where is that anyway?"He asked.

Ellie
"Some place near my publisher's house (Xe needs a name)" I say, starting the car and setting off.

"Yay low information,"Zach said, the everlasting irony in his voice.

"I don't know how to describe it" I scowled, pulling into a car park. "Anyway, we're here now" I add., turning off the car.

"Great."Zach got out, not really liking cars enough to spend time in their presence.

Ellie
I sighed, locking the car, why did I think this was a good idea? I lead the way into the building.

"Why are you not allowed to come alone anyways?"Zach asked.

Ellie
I shrugged "I dunno, it's just tradition, happens every year" I reply.

"Poor me, surrounded by mediocre writers."Zach sighed deeply.

Ellie
I scowled at him and elbowed him slightly in the ribs. "They will have your throat if you're not careful" I say "Anyway you would of read at least one of these Authors books and enjoyed them"

"I would of not."Zach shook his head.

I took another sip of my drink, Zachariah was right, drinking did help forget things. I glanced at him, and grinned crookedly.

"Don't look at me like that. I told you so."Zach said chuckling a bit.

"I like that vest, it suits you" I compliment, looking at him.

"I know, right?"Zach asked.

I walked beside Zachariah, stumbling over everything. I hadn't been properly drunk before, so this was kind of new to me.

"Wow, aren't you a lousy drunk,"Zach noticed."Alcohol tolerance, none."He said as he helped her walk straight.

"I never drink" I say, my voice slightly slurred
