I gave him a small smile before sipping my coffee, "I presume it has a good wage ?"

"Good enough for me,"Zach said and noticed that that was pretty much it for the topics they can talk about without being awkward.

Taking another sip from my drink I glanced at him. "So any new friends or anything?" I asked, trying to make a new conversation.

"Pfft. Where could I get those?"Zach snorted sarcastically.

"Your colleagues? Neighbours?" I suggested, sipping my drink again.

"Well, yeah, I have a couple of those,"Zach shrugged.

Ellie
"I would hope so. I know you're intelligent but teaching a whole school is a bit hard" I say, with a smile.

"I suppose, yeah,"Zach smiled lightly at her. Suddenly his phone buzzed. He checked it. A text from Maya (two and a half men ftw). He sighed a bit.

I glanced at him, slightly confused "Are you okay?" I asked, after hearing his sigh.

"Uh huh. Perfectly fine. I just discovered that I must leave around four. Anyway, where are you staying?"Zach asked.(ooh maybe we coukd make maya jealous?)

"Just at a small hotel down the road" I reply, with a small nod in the direction of the hotel.

"Hmm, that's closing, you know? The owner spent all his money in casinos. You can't stay there,"Zach frowned lightly.

"Is it? Is there another hotel nearby?" I asked, wonderingwhere I could go.

"You could always stay at my place, if you want,"Zach suggested.

"Are you sure? Thank you" I say, with a small smile.

"Well, I figured you'd be used to the sofa by now, he added teasingly.

Ellie
"Your fault for stealing my flat" I reply, with a smile.

"I regret nothing,"Zach grinned. "Shall we?"He got up.

Ellie
I rolled my eyes at him playfully. I stood up also, letting him lead the way.

I sit watching tv on the sofa, it was just like old times. My little bed was set up on the sofa, as Zachariah got the bed.

Around two, when Zach was still working, there was a knock on the door.

I groaned as I got to my feet. I walked to the door and opened it. "Hello" I greeted in a slightly bored voice.

The girl outside was in her midtwenties, had black hair and blue eyes, and was also too tall to wear heels, which she was doing."Who are you?"She asked frowning.
