Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

Victoria
I hummed slightly, "Good night Princess" I murmured, as I felt nyself falling asleep.

"Ditto", I say. I finally find myself falling into a deep void of sleep and silently rest my head against Victoria's.

(Skipty skip til morning)
Victoria
"Too fucking early" I complained, probably a bit loudly as I woke up. I rolled away from Joe, attempting to sleep again but no such luck. I cursed multiple times before stretching, standing up out of the bed and looking through my bag for something to eat. I grab an apple before flopping back onto the bed with a dull thud, holding the apple in my hand but not eating it.

I open my eyes slightly, being woken by Victoria's cursing. "You alright there?", I ask with a smug smile on my face. I bring my hands up to my face and rub my eyes.

Victoria
"No, not really" I grumbled, twiddling the apple in my hand. "It is too early to even think about being awake" I complained, looking at Johann through the corner of my eye.

"If you don't want to get up then just go back to sleep", I suggest. I close my eyes again and snuggle further into the blanket. I soon find myself drifting off slightly.

Victoria
"We need to get moving" I noticed, biting inti the apple and sitting up.

I groan and mumble, "five more minute's". I roll over onto my side, trying to block out the sunlight.

Victoria
"Nooo you don't" I said and lifted him up. "Wake up or I will throw you in the river" I held.him bridal style, after puttinf my hald eaten apple down, and started walking.

I start to kick my legs, "Okay, okay. I'm awake". I settle back however and look into Victoria's eyes. "Morning".

Victoria
I smiled at him, "Good" I replied, lowering him slightly then dropping him. "Whoops" I say in an innocent voice, grabbing my apple again.

"Ah, shit. That hurt", I say and stand up quickly. I shake my head at Victoria, "what a lovely way to wake up".

Victoria
"Yes. Now eat something before we go" I replied, poking him with my toe and walking out of the little shelter.

I pick some food out of the bag and start munching it thoughtfully, "why up so early?" I ask. "Its not like we have to be anywhere".

Victoria
"It isn't that early" I replied, throwing my apple core into a bush- let some random animal eat it- "We need to spend the best part of the day walking, sleeping will get us no where and makes us vunerable"

"Fine", I sigh. I pick up my bag and start walking. "But sleep is important too", I add.

Victoria
"I will put you to sleep if we don't get moving soon" I commented, placing the last of our stuff in my bag and catch up to his side.

"Good look with that", I mutter and slow down so that I was standing beside Victoria. "Sleep well?", I ask.

Victoria
"Shall I prove I can?" I asked him with a smirk. "Pretty well, considering we don't have a bed or mattress" I said, "You?"

"Perfectly", I said. "Until you woke me up", I add in an undertone. However, I shuffle closer towards her. There was a strange magnetic sensation that kept making me want to be near her.

Victoria
"Well, I am sorry, Sleeping Beauty. Just look forward until your next time sleeping- it'll be better than the last" I replied, glancing at him. Sleeping Beauty is a princess, right? Yeah I think so which makes that nickname very good for Johann. In more than two ways.

"I doubt it", I mumble. "It take a lot to make me sleep", I admit. "Usually I end up staying awake until 3 am and wake up in the afternoon", I look over to Victoria. "It didn't help that my shifts at the florists was 2 'til 8. Except from Monday, where I had to get up super early".

Victoria
"I could drug you if you want?" I asked, "Anyway, flowers? Really?" I never understood people's obsessions with flowers.

"I never really liked them until I started working there", I shrug. "I found out that each has a different meaning, and...it just seemed kind of...cool", I look at Victoria. "You've got to admit, they are quite beautiful".

Victoria
"They're just plants" I argued, "Cows are more interesting than flowers. And why would they need a meaning? Give the person a card or just tell them"
