Sophie and Hazel, numéro 1

Victoria
The glare I gave Johann didn't go unnoticed by Lucas. "I don't want to be an intrusion..." He trailed off, as I mumbled an insult.

"No, no. Its fine", I say. I frown at Victorias insult. "What?", I ask her. "What do you have to say on this matter", I add sarcastically.

Victoria
"It seems what I have to say on this matter does not appear to affect what happens anyway. You two seem to have a blossoming romance" I grumbled, looking away from Johann's face and to the floor .

"No, no. Go ahead", I say. "Say what you wanna say. If you have to make a sarcastic comment like that, then say the truth after it", I turn back to Lucas. "Will you just give us a moment?" I ask.

Victoria
Lucas nodded and walked away, I just sighed, closing my eyes and not moving from my position leant against Johann. "I think you'd probably disagree with what I'd say so I don't think there is any point in saying it!

I sigh, "Then you might as well just say it". I motion to Lucas, "Since he can't hear us anymore you might as well just come out with it".

Victoria
"I do not trust him" I replied simply. "It is odd we have seen him twice in such a small space of time" I added.

"He can't be worse than the zombies, can he?", I say."And even if he turns out to be a murderer we can shoot his brains out", I add.

Victoria
"What with no bullets? We owe him our lives, and if we part now it will make the situation better" I replied, nudging my head into the crook of his neck more.

"If you want to get rid of him then you should tell him yourself", I say. I rest my head onto Victoria's head, "We don't have to let him come", I say quietly.

Victoria
"But you want him to come" I said, opening my eyes to looking over at Lucas who stood awkwardly by a tree.

"Not particularly", I admit. "I was just trying to be polite", I explain. "You see I don't have much experience with human beings".

Victoria
"Well you've invited him now, we can't particularly kick him away now can we?" I said, it just would seem unfair. Yes he shot me but he also saved us.

"Look I know he shot you, but it was an accident", I say. I turn my head so I could look at Victoria's face, "we could always run off without him".

Victoria
"That would be just rude" I noticed, "Plus he would catch us up easily" I added.

"True", I say. "But with out him I wouldn't be able to do this", I lean forward and kiss her slightly.

Victoria
I hummed an agreement and kissed him back, "Lets let him stay for a little, but we will have to keep our distance. If he is a murderer he could kidnap you and use you against me" I added, moving back slightly.

"Why do I have to be the one to get kidnapped", I complain while smiling at the kiss. "So...hold on. What were we talking about?", I ask.

Victoria
"And you think I'll be the one kidnapped?" I grinned at him, "We were talking about that Lucas guy" I replied, looking down to my nails.

"Ah", I say. "Well I prefered not to know that. Now we got a dilemma", I sigh. I kiss her lightly and stand up, holding out my hand to help her up.

Victoria
I lifted up my good arm and accepted his hand. "We always have a dilemma, I mostly blame you"

"Only mostly, huh?" I ask. "Looks like the blame will be put on someone else now". I walk over to Lucas, "How far north were you heading?" I ask him.

Victoria
I kept hold of his hand and followed behind him, "I am heading to the Canadian border, some of my family live up there" Lucas replied.

"Were in...", I look at my watch, "Why am I looking at the time?" I shake my head, "Anyway, were in Nebraska (Yeah I know the USA) right now, so it should take about four(?) days to get there".

(why are you asking me. You know I know shit about geography)

Four days in that guys presence. "That is fine" Lucas nodded, and I sighed slightly, but bit my tongue for any comment I might say.
